Van Wees

Van Wees is a large drinks company in The Netherlands that deals in the import, distribution and independent bottling of whisky and other spirits. It was founded by Hubertus H. van Wees as a tobacco wholesaler in 1921 before moving into alcoholic beverages in 1963 under the ownership of his son John "Hans."

The company represents a number of distillers and bottlers in Holland and as such, is able to regularly make a number of its own exclusive selections. It also established its own independent bottling arm, The Ultimate Whisky Company, in 1994, and founded the Pot Still Festival in its native Amersfoort.
