Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1970s

Featuring the image of Basil Hayden, Old Grand-dad is a classic of the bourbon world. 

Distilled and bottled by National Distillers at Old Grand-dad distillery.

Jim Beam purchased the brand in 1987 and moved its production to their Beam distillery. The Old Grand-dad site is now silent, operating solely as a warehouse facility.

Established in 1795 by the Baron Jean-Baptiste Antoine Otard, this cognac brand has a long history. We estimate this bottle to be from the late 1930's or early 1940's based on the tax strip. 

Officially imported to the US market by Schenley.

Old Crow is was one of Kentucky's earliest bourbons, founded in the 1830s by Scottish immigrant James C. Crow.

Old Taylor Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1970s / Cinzano Import​

A 1970's produced bourbon from Old Taylor distillery, named after Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr, son of former US president Zachary Taylor. E.H. Taylor is also referred to as Colonel Taylor due to his holding of the honourary title of Kentucky Colonel.

This would have been bottled using some of the last bourbon distilled at Castle Distillery.

Officially imported to the Italian market by Cinzano, Torino.

Ocean Black 1986 / Karuizawa 

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks, which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

This is an older bottle of whisky produced by Sanraku Ocean Co. the parent company of Merican, who were owners of Karuizawa distillery. This enabled the company to use Karuizawa single malt in their 'Ocean' line of whiskies.

Old Kentucky Amber 10 Year Old

A bottle of Old Kentucky Amber bourbon. The bottle states that this was \"bottled at the distillery.\"

In fact, this was produced by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, so was bottled at Willett distillery but more than likely distilled at Heaven Hill. Willett has only been producing its own liquid again since 2012.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
