The latest 'tun' release from Balvenie, following the footsteps of Balvenie Tun 1401 and 1858.

This larger Tun can hold up to four times as much liquid as Tun 1401 and hence we expect a larger quantity of this release.  

This release is a combination of 31 casks: 12 Sherry Butts, 11 Hogsheads, and 8 Refill American Oak Butts. These were married in Tun 1509 for several months before bottling.

Distilled in June 1950 and aged for 20 years before bottling by National Distillers Corp.

National Distillers had several operating distilleries in the 1950s, however their most prominent were Old Grand-dad and the Old Taylor Castle in Kentucky.

Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition 2018 Release / 130th Anniversary

The 2018 limited edition barrel strength, small batch release from Four Roses, bottled at a high strength of 54.2%.

The origins of the Four Roses brand are historically hazy, with some speculating that it has been sold since the 1860s. The brand name itself was trademarked in 1888, and this release celebrates the 130th anniversary of that event.

Benrinnes 1996 A.D. Rattray 14 Year Old

A 14 year old whisky from the Benrinnes distillery in Speyside.

Re-established in 2002, the A.D. Rattray company is headed up by Stanley Walker Morrison, grandson of the Stanley P. Morrison who owned Bowmore distillery. The A.D. Rattray company came into the family through the marriage of Stanley to the daughter of William Walker, who's William Walker & Co had acquired the firm in 1920. When Beam Suntory acquired full ownership of the Morrison Bowmore in 1994, the family revived the A.D. Rattray name in order to find a new avenue back into the whisky trade. This is part of their Cask Collection range, which was launched in 2004.

Distilled in 1996, this was bottled in April 2011 from single sherry hogshead #6463.

One of 281 bottles.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
