A. Dewar Rattray

Re-established in 2002, the modern A. Dewar Rattray is an independent bottling company headed up by Stanley Walker Morrison, grandson of the Stanley P. Morrison who owned the Bowmore Scotch whisky distillery on Islay. When Beam Suntory acquired full ownership of Morrison Bowmore in 1994, the family revived the A.D. Rattray name in order to find a new avenue back into the whisky trade.

The company has a number of Scotch whisky brands, headed up by its flagship Cask Collection label. Also of note are its region-focussed Casks of Scotland single malts and the Stronachie brand which is based on a 1904 vintage bottling from the long-lost distillery of the same name.
