Ardbeg Drum Committee Release

Drum is the Ardbeg Day 2019 addition to the distillery portfolio. Every year, members of the Ardbeg Committee are given advance access to a pre-release version. These Committee Releases are generally at cask strength and are exclusively labelled.

Drum is a an ex-bourbon cask matured Ardbeg which has been finished in ex-rum casks from \"the Americas.\" The flavours are intended to evoke the \"rumbustious revelry\" that the distillery believes goes hand in hand with Ardbeg Day.

The bottle is peppered with additional small labels which feature tasting notes, including ripe banana, briny notes and pineapple. 

Allt-A-Bhainne 1977 First Cask 25 Year Old

A rare offering from Direct Wines' First Cask series.

Distilled at Allt-A-Bhainne in Speyside in 1977, this was bottled at 25 years old from cask #31521.

Ardbeg 2007 SMWS 9 Year Old 33.135​

\"Peat reek and barbeque char\".

Single cask Ardbeg, distilled on 24th May 2007 then matured in a 2nd fill ex-Oloroso sherry butt.

Ardbeg 2008 SMWS 10 Year Old 33.136 / 35th Anniversary

\"Halcyon tarfest\"

A single cask Ardbeg distilled on the 18th of April 2008 and matured in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel. 

One of 231 bottles filled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society for their 35th anniversary in 2018.

Ardbeg Dark Cove

The Feis Ile release for 2016, this was matured in ex-Bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. 

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay. Many islanders were involved in this activity, including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery. 

This is the general release, a more available lower ABV edition launched for Ardbeg Day/Night. 

Ardbeg Perpetuum Distillery Release

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery.

This is the high strength version which was only available at the distillery to Ardbeg Committee Members.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Ardmore 25 Year Old Cask Strength

A mildly peated Non-chill-filtered Highland whisky. The whisky is double cask matured, initially in ex-bourbon barrels and then in Quarter Casks, which being very small allows greater contact with the wood thus enhancing maturation.

This particular release has been matured for over 25 years and bottled at cask strength.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #25

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #25 released in 2008.

Aberfeldy 1983 Exclusive Malts 27 Year Old

It's unusual to see an old independently bottled Aberfeldy.

A single cask distilled 9th November 1993 and bottled 27 years later.

One of 215 bottles drawn from single cask 2804.

Arran 21st Anniversary Limited Edition

A fantastic limited edition Arran, bottled to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Arran distillery.  

A limited release of 5,988 bottles were produced from a selection of ex-Sherry hogsheads from the first three years of production at the distillery.

Ardbeg Perpetuum Bicentenary Release

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery. This is the standard 47.4% release which was released during Feis Ile 2015.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.

An independent 12 year old Ardbeg bottled by North Star Spirits..

Distilled March 2005 and matured in refill hogshead prior to being bottled in February 2018. This is part of North Star's Cask Series #004.

Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter II           

Released in 2013, Arran’s second edition release in the very popular punch bowl series consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks.

Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,660 bottles have been released.

Arran 20 Year Old The Explorers Series Volume 1 / Brodick Bay

This is the first release in Arran Distillery's The Explorers Series, which replaces the now-discontinued Smugglers' Series which celebrated the island's illicit whisky history. This new range instead celebrates the island's natural charms. 

Their first expression is titled 'Brodick Bay', with the label depicting the picturesque bay on Arran's east coast. 

Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry hogsheads, Brodick Bay is then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. 

Auchroisk 1988 Malts of Scotland Bourbon Hogshead

A vintage Auchroisk distilled in 1988 and matured in bourbon hogshead until bottled in autumn 2016 by Malts of Scotland.

Auchroisk 1990 Douglas Laing 25 Year Old / XOP

A 1990 vintage bottling of Auchroisk from Douglas Laing.

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing. Xtra Old Particular is the premium version of the brand, and is reserved for casks the company considers the Laing \"family jewels.\"

The Distillery Cask series from Auchentoshan is a visitor exclusive range, available only to hand-fill from the cask at the distillery.

This one was distilled on 9th December 2009 and bottled on 4th October 2018 from single first fill Oloroso sherry butt #4485.
