Distilled in 1966, this was was the first in the series proper. These early releases were packaged in the instantly recognisable purple-sashed white boxes, featuring the Sara Midda watercolours of Easter Elchies house, synonymous with Macallan of the period.

Macallan 2005 Exceptional Cask #5234-09 / 2017 Release

The Macallan Exceptional Casks were bottled in 2017 mostly for the United States and parts of Asia. This range takes it's name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s, which are often described as some of \"the greatest Macallan of them all.\"

Distilled on the 30th March 2005 and bottled over 12 years later after maturing in single European oak sherry butt #5234 (Ref: 2017/ESB-5234/09).

Selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno, this was the ninth cask to be reserved for the 2017 series on 24th July of the same year.

One of only 468 bottles.

Selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno, this was the fourth cask to be reserved for the 2017 series on 2nd June of the same year.

Mortlach 1938 Gordon and Macphail

This pre-second world war Mortlach was distilled in 1938 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in the early 1980s. Gordon & MacPhail are the only independent company to have bottled whisky under license from the distillery with an exclusive label, for many these were the only official bottlings available for a long time. The modern Distillery Labels series is an homage to these bottles.

Many of the oldest casks in the Grodon & MacPhail warehouses were from Mortlach, this is a fine example of some of them.

An Italian import bottling by Gordon and MacPhail for Co. Import in Pinerolo, Italy.

Gordon & MacPhail helped Macallan survive during the 1930s and 1940s by buying a regular batch of stock from them, which in turn allowed them to release a lot of these special Macallan bottlings to the Italian market.

Distilled in 1940, and bottled after 37 years.

This Mortlach was distilled in 1936 and bottled as a 45 year old by Gordon & MacPhail, part of their Connoisseur's Choice series.

Gordon & MacPhail have some incredible vintages resting in their warehouses, and many of the oldest are from Mortlach distillery.

This was imported to Italy by Co. Import, Pinerolo.

Very Old Fitzgerald 1951 Bonded 8 Year Old / Stitzel-Weller

We don't see vintage Old Fitzgerald very often, so we are particularly excited about this bottle which was distilled in the Spring of 1951 and bottled in 1959.

Distilled at the Stitzel-Weller distillery while it was still being run by the legendary Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle, and bottled at the distillery by his son, Julian II, who assumed control following his father's death in 1965.

Distilled in 1986, this was was bottled in 2004. The 1986 vintage was available in two packaging styles. The first batch was the last of 6 releases presented in tube packaging, all featuring the famous Sara Midda watercolours of Easter Elchies house. A second batch featured the new bottle shape, and was boxed in a matte purple carton.
