A blend of straight rye whiskies finished in french oak and port barrels from Utah in the USA. 

This limited botting from the folks at High West is incredibly sought after.

'Limited Engagement'

Hakushu 1981 \"Kioke Shiomi\" Pure Malt 

There is a great deal of debate as to whether or not this is a single malt, Suntory were renowned for using the term \"Pure Malt\" for both single malts and blended malts and a high number of bloggers have stated that this is 100% Hakushu. 

The translation of ‘Kioke Shikomi’ seems strange because although it means “matured in a wooden tub”, 'kioke’ normally refers to a tub used for making sake.

Highland Park Fire Edition 15 Year Old

Highland Park's new limited edition following the success of the Highland Park Ice.  Similiarly to the Ice, the Fire is the second of this series and comes in wood shaped like a mountain and a cut glass bottle. 

Most importantly the whisky is 15 years of age and matured in refill Port casks.

Hazelburn is produced at Springbank distillery, without (much) peat influence and triple distilled.

This Hazelburn was distilled in June 2002 before being matured for 5 years in refill bourbon casks and matured for a further 3 years in Sauternes casks.

Limited to 9,180 bottles.

Highland Park That Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch #2

When they launched That Boutique-y Whisky Company, they did so at a masterclass at Maltstock, a whisky festival south of Nijmegen each year. This label features those who attended the masterclass and voted to decide the contents of this Highland Park.

Awarded 90.5% by Jim Murray in 2015 with the comment \"lovely\".

Highland Park Saint Magnus 12 Year Old 2nd Edition

Saint Magnus, follows the initial Earl Magnus release but sees the once ruler of Orkney become a Saint.  The second within the trilogy, with the same elaborate packaging and a 12 year old whisky, again bottled at cask strength.

Only 11,994 bottles of the Saint Magnus were created.

Bottled under the name Chichibu Golden Horse, both this and it's 12 year old counterpart predate the distilleries whisky production by a considerable length of time. 

Distilled by Toa Shuzo Co Ltd, which would imply that this blend contains Hanyu.

A travel retail exclusive Highland Park, released as part of Highland Park's warrior series.

Partially matured in European oak.

A now-discontinued travel-retail exclusive bottling from Highland Park distillery.  Distilled in 1990, bottled in 2010.

Hudson's Bay Best Procurable Scotch Whisky Circa 1940s/50s Includes Glass

Hudson's Bay Company were a originally based in New York state and acting as a trading company. They began selling Alcohol to the Native Americans. In 1923 they created their own premium Scotch which was a huge brand in Canada. The company was bought by Seagrams in 1987 and the blend is still sold in the US.

Hibiki 12 year old is a the younger edition of this very popular range of blended whisky produced by Suntory. 

Haig's Dimple Circa 1930s

A very old bottle of Haig's Dimple, bottled after the death of George V in January 1936 but presumably before the reissuing of Royal Warrants by either Edward VIII - who ascended the throne at his father's passing and abdicated 11th of December 1936 - or his brother George VI who began issuing Royal Warrants in 1936.

Dimple is a premium blend produced by Haig's, which has a higher malt influence from Linkwood and Glenkinchie, than its sister blend Haig's Gold.

Interestingly in 1958 the Dimple bottle was the first container to be trademarked by the US Patent office, thanks to its unique design.

Since 1824 when Cameronbridge distillery was opened by John Haig, Haig has been a big brand in the whisky world. As part of a distilling dynasty John Haig became important in the regulation of Whisky production and was a spokesman for the industry. Although the brand began to shrink in the 1970s, in the last year it has seen a healthy revival with the help of Mr Posh Spice David Beckham.
