Viña Tondonia Reserva 1982

Bodegas López de Heredia is located by Haro, in the heart of the Rioja Alta region.  One of the first 3 commercial wine houses to be built, the history and success of the region and the estate are closely linked.

Viña Tondonia is one of the cellars of the renowned Rioja estate, Bodegas López de Heredia.  A blend of Tempranillo (75%), Garnacho (15%), Graciano and Mazuelo together contributing only 10%, aged in oak barrels for 6 years; 1982 vintage.

Teacher's Highland Cream 1970s

A 1970s bottling of Teacher's released for the Italian market.

Please note condition of this lot especially the condition of the seal. 

Tormore 12 Year Old 

The old blue tubed edition of Tormore 12 year old, now discontinued and replaced by a 14 year old. 

Vlahov Apricot Brandy 1950s

Italian produced appricot brandy from the 1950s.

Tamnavulin 10 Year Old

We rarely see Tamnavulin as a single malt, this is the older presentation from Whyte and Mackay.

Vega Sicilia \"Valbuena\" 5 ano Ribera Del Duero

Vega Sicilia is Spain's most renowned producer and traces its roots back to 1864.  American wine guru Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) has called Vega Sicilia \"One of the world's most iconic wines'.

Vega Sicilia is noted for its patience in winemaking and willingness to hold onto their inventory and age their wines in the barrel - sometimes for several decades - before they release their wines to the market.  Vega Sicilia produces three wines: \"Unico\" Gran Reserve, \"Unico\" Reserva Especial and \"Valbuena\".

This non-vintage statement, \"Valbuena\" 5 ano, is predominantly Tempranillo with a small amount of Merlot and matured for 5 years in oak.

Trois Rivieres Martinique Rum

A Rhum Agricole from the Island of Martinique.  Rhum Agricoles are distilled exclusively from pressed sugar cane (no molasses) and typically offer light, grassy characteristics.

Teacher's Highland Cream 

A very popular blend, rated very highly by Jim Murray who awarded it 90 points in the Whisky Bible.

Tayside 5 Year Old Pure Malt

A 75cl bottle of this blended malt produced with a picture of Blair Castle on the label.

Vecchia Romagna 15 Year Old Riserva Rara

Distilled from the Trebbiano grape this is the rare 15 year old expression.

Whislt this is an Italian brandy, however the brand was originally founded by a Frenchman. 

Vecchia Romagna Brandy 75cl 1970s

An old bottle of brandy produced in Italy.

Tia Maria 1970s

The famous Coffee liqueur produced in the 1970s. 

Bottled in Jamaica.

Vodka 666

Polish vodka presented in a devil shaped ceramic decanter.

Released on the 6th June 2006 (06/06/06).

Please note there is no visible measurements, approximately 50cl.

'The Berliner' British Military Train Belle Maison Claret 2 x 75cl

Two bottles of Claret which were available exclusively on 'The Berliner' British Military Train which travelled across Soviet occupied East Germany to West Berlin's British sector every day between 1945 and 1990.

An incredible piece of Military railway history.

Grappa is a spirit originating in Italy, distilled from grape skin pomace.

An older bottling of Fynsec. 

Viña Tondonia 6 Year Old Rioja​

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the northern Spanish DOC of Rioja.

The label states \"6 ano\" indicating it has been aged for 6 years - with most of this time spent in oak barrels the wine would usually be classified a Gran Reserva.  However, when the terminology of \"Crianza\", \"Reserva\" and \"Gran Reserva\" was agreed in the 1970s, Don Pedro López Heredia, owner of Viña Tondonia, objected and so refused to use the new terminologies on his wines' labels.

Instead, the neck label simply states \"Rioja de Crianza\" as was the former terminology of stating the wine had been matured in oak.
