Ardbeg Supernova SN2015

The forth release of Supernova... SN2015.

With Ardbeg having blasted whisky into space and it having returned successfully we are being treated to a new Supernova. We'll need to wait and see as to what Dr Lumsden has to say about zero gravity maturation... probably that it isn't cost efficient.

Peated to over 100 PPM this is a big bang of a whisky. Truly out of this world. A star of a dram. Is that enough space puns yet?

Ambassador 20 Year Old Scapa Blend 1950s

A blended Scotch whisky we estimate to be from the 1950s.

Scapa distillery went into voluntary liquidation in 1934 and did not resume production until 1936 when the distillery was acquired by Bloch Brothers Ltd (John & Sir Maurice),  The brothers used Scapa in their blend of Ambassador Scotch whisky. They sold Scapa in 1954 to Hiram Walker who licensed Scapa to its subsidiary company Taylor & Ferguson Ltd.
This saw the Ambassador brand produced with Scapa Malt, from Taylor and Ferguson Ltd.

Ardbeg Blasda

The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway, Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Bidding advice

You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.

Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot.
