Hanyu 1986 King of Hearts Single Cask #9033

Hanyu is a closed Japanese distillery that received a new lease of life from Ichiro Akuto, who bottled the last of the stock in the iconic card range. 

Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2009, after being aged in a hogshead then finished in a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt. 

Bottle number 427 of 444.

Ardbeg 1815

One of the most talked about releases of 2015, the Ardbeg 1815 was bottled to commemorate the the 200th Anniversary of this legendary Islay distillery.

The whisky was distilled in 1974 and 1975 and aged for 33 years with a further 8 years spent marrying in glass containers for preservation.  

The 1974 spirit was matured in bourbon barrels while the 1975 distillate was kept in sherry casks.

As with all new Ardbeg's this bottle beautifully presented in a simple black box with perhaps the most eye-catching and stunning bottle in this auction.  

Only 400 of these bottles were released and this is an excellent opportunity to add this to your collection.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts #9102

This was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2005 as part of Ichiro's legendary card series.

This is bottle number 18 of 324.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts Single Cask #9102 / Bottle No.8

The Queen of Hearts was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a traditional hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french oak cognac wood, cask # 9102.

This bottle is only number 108 of 324.

The Hennessy Timeless was created in 1999 to showcase Hennessy's past and future and is presented in a beautiful and elegant Baccarat crystal decanter.

Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, Captain in the French Army. It took Hennessy just a few years to dominate the market and actually they have never lost their leading position since. Hennessy house the most impressive collection of vintage Cognac's within their cellar, this cognac was carefully crafted using a combination of the finest 11 vintages from the 20th century:

A single cask #60 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 2000 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a Japanese oak Mizunara Puncheon for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2010.

A single cask #9100 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 2000 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a French oak Cognac cask for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2008.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2010. 

Originally bottled in a hogshead then finished in a port pipe.

Highland Park 1968 / Orcadian Vintage 

Following the release of the 1964 Orcadian Vintage, the 1968 followed suit in November 2009.

This was a vatting of eight hogsheads, which yielded only 1,550 bottles.  

The presentation as always with Highland Park is spectacular, a hard wood case with a silver Highland Park amulet logo inlay and a stunning black glass bottle.

Bottled for Full Proof from cask number 9307, this is a 19 Year old Hanyu.

Highland Park 20 Year Old Rebus

Ian Rankin's fictional Detective Rebus has been solving Edinburgh crimes for 20 years, this bottle was released in 2007 to celebrate this. 

Rankin specially selected this cask and the author and special friends were given the bottles as gifts, it was never available for purchase. 

A 20 year old Highland Park presented in an excellently crafted wooden box. 

One of the most rare and collectable Highland Parks available. 

One of only 150 bottles. 

Hennessy Paradis Cognac  

Hennessy was established in 1765 and quickly became known as one of the World's most reknowned Cognac producers.  

The Paradis is a blend of pver 100 eaux de vie from ages between 30 and 100 years old.

Hanyu/Kawasaki 25 Year Old Kiyosato Field Ballet 26th Anniversary

A very rare and collectible marriage of two lost Japanese distilleries: this very limited blended whisky contains 1990 Hanyu and 1982 Kawasaki.

The Hanyu was a 25 Year Old and the Kawasaki was a 33 year old. 

Bottle number 170 of 700 bottles, however there were only 200 of the hardcover editions released which features a blown glass bottle from Kobei Komaki and stopper.

Suntory's other excellent distillery which is often over looked for Yamazaki. This Hakushu was distilled in August 1984 and matured in a sherry butt #WH40506 until bottling in May 2003.

Hibiki 17 Year Old Egret White Heron Beckons

Hibiki 17 year old is a very popular and stunning blend produced by Suntory.  

This special edition is presented in a hand painted bottle that depicts an Egret, which is a type of heron native to Japan. In Japan this bird is the epitome of elegance, a good fit for Hibiki. 

Limited to only 2000 bottles.

Highland Park 1957 Samaroli 22 Year Old / Original 1979 Release

This legendary bottling company was established in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, Bologna, Italy.

Samaroli has produced hundreds if not thousands of single cask independantly bottled whiskies, many of which are highly acclaimed.  This is an iconic bottling from the first release under the Samaroli name, in 1979.  These bottles are all numbered and rarely ever seen at auction.

This is one of six bottlings from this famous collection, currently under the hammer in our March 2016 auction.

Ardbeg 1973 Sestante 15 Year Old

A rare Ardbeg bottled by the Italian bottler Sestante. 

Distilled incredibly at Ardbeg in 1973 and bottled at 43% in 1988.

Ardbeg's from this period just don't exist these days, it is well worth investigating these older bottlings, even more so when they are from bottlers such as Sestante.

Aberlour 1969

An old Aberlour, distilled in 1969 and bottled 21 years later in 1991 presented in a wooden box.
