Hanyu 1985 Ace of Spades Single Cask #9308

Perhaps the second most talked about bottle within Ichiro Akuto's famous Card Series of whiskies.  The Ace of Spades was released in 2006 and comes from a traditional oak cask that was re-racked into a single Spanish oak sherry butt #9308 before bottling in 2006.

Distilled in 1985 and bottled as a 21 year old, this highly sought after edition was limited to only 300 bottles, this is bottle number 50.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts Single Cask #9102 

The Queen of Hearts was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a traditional hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french oak cognac wood, cask # 9102.

This bottle is only number 22 of 324.

Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac Tres Vieille 1960s

Remy Martin is perhaps the most well known of all Cognac producers and has established a reputation for quality that very few others can relate to.

This is a spectacular 1960s example of the Louis XIII Tres Vieille Cognac Baccarat decanter which holds Grande Champagne cognac aged between 40 and 100 years.

Please note that this item is very old and hence very fragile. Lot is sold as photographed. There are no visible measurements on this bottle.

Hanyu 1991 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9001 / Jack of Clubs​

A single cask #9001 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 1991 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a American oak sherry butt for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2006.

Hanyu 1988 King of Diamonds Single Cask #9003

A Single cask Hanyu distilled in 1988 and matured in a hogehads prior to being finished in an American Oak Sherry Butt and bottled 2006.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Spades Single Cask #466

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2010. 

Originally bottled in a hogshead then finished in a port pipe.

Bottle number 687 of 737. 

Hanyu 1990 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9032 / Ten of Clubs​

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008 from single cask #9032.

Matured in a hogshead and finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt

Hanyu 2000 ‘The Game’ Cask #9805 Rum Finish

This is a bottle from a Japanese food and spirits importer called Shinanoya exclusively for the Japanese market.

This is the forth release in their acclaimed The Game series which contains Hanyu from the final year that the distillery was producing.

This was finished in a rum cask.

Hanyu Ichiro's Malt The Joker 'Colour'

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

Hanyu/Kawasaki 25 Year Old Kiyosato Field Ballet 26th Anniversary

A very rare and collectible marriage of two lost Japanese distilleries: this very limited blended whisky contains 1990 Hanyu and 1982 Kawasaki.

The Hanyu was a 25 Year Old and the Kawasaki was a 33 year old. 

Bottle number 170 of 700 bottles, however there were only 200 of the hardcover editions released which features a blown glass bottle from Kobei Komaki and stopper.

Highland Park 1967 John Scott's 42 Year Old

Distilled in in 1967 and bottled in 2009 after being matured in cask number 6282.

Highland Park 1977 Single Cask 29 Year Old 75cl

Distilled in 1977 then matured in cask 7957 before being bottled in 2006.

Bottled in 1991 this is a fantastic example of Highland Park distilled in the 1960s, presented in this attractive black box inlaid with a map of the Orkney isles.

Only 2,000 of the 1967 Highland Park were released.

The 1973 Dragon rarely appears at auction, these Robertson's of Kirkwall bottlings are very highly regarded.

The Dragon from which this whisky takes its name comes from the 12th century carving in Maes Howe neolithic tomb, Orkney.

A single cask bottling of this closed Japanese distillery.

This is a very recent bottling of Hanyu, exclusively retailed by La Maison Du Whisky.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2015, this impressively labelled bottling was matured in a single hogshead, cask #63.

This 16 year old Highland Park is a limited edition of 23,000 bottles.  

Highland Park 1973 Single Cask #11151

Highland Park bottled two single casks from October 1973, this is from cask #11151.

Highland Park intentionally released two sister casks, as an experiment to illustrate the changes made in cask.  The casks were filled, matured for 28 years and emptied on 22nd February 2001 at the same time.

Cask #11151 only yielded 500 bottles.
