Hanyu 1985 Ace of Spades Single Cask #9308

Perhaps the second most talked about bottle within Ichiro Akuto's famous Card Series of whiskies.  The Ace of Spades was released in 2006 and comes from a traditional oak cask that was re-racked into a single Spanish oak sherry butt #9308 before bottling in 2006.

Distilled in 1985 and bottled as a 21 year old, this highly sought after edition was limited to only 300 bottles, this is bottle number 50.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts Single Cask #9102 

The Queen of Hearts was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a traditional hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french oak cognac wood, cask # 9102.

This bottle is only number 22 of 324.

Hanyu 1991 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9001 / Jack of Clubs​

A single cask #9001 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 1991 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a American oak sherry butt for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2006.

A Single cask Hanyu distilled in 1988 and matured in a hogehads prior to being finished in an American Oak Sherry Butt and bottled 2006.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2010. 

Originally bottled in a hogshead then finished in a port pipe.

Hanyu 2000 ‘The Game’ Cask #9805 Rum Finish

This is a bottle from a Japanese food and spirits importer called Shinanoya exclusively for the Japanese market.

This is the forth release in their acclaimed The Game series which contains Hanyu from the final year that the distillery was producing.

This was finished in a rum cask.

Hanyu Ichiro's Malt The Joker 'Colour'

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

Laphroaig 80 Proof / 20 Under Proof Miniature 1960s

This is about as rare a miniature as you can find, dated to 1966 kindly by Marcel Van Gils and Hans Offringa Legend of Laphroaig's book, this is a wonderfully preserved miniature of Laphroaig.

The label reads, Old Scotch Whisky Laphroaig 80 Proof.

Strength is 20 under proof.

This has been stored within an exceptional collection of miniatures. A very very rare item we are excited to offer this in our latest auction, particularly alongside another stunning example of Laphroaig's history, in miniature - a 1960s bottling of Islay Mist.

Laphroaig Cairdeas 30 Year Old

Exclusively only available at Laphroaig distillery or on their website this 30 year old Cairdeas release is a combination of approximately 60% sherry casks and 40% bourbon casks, which were then married together in bourbon casks before bottling.

This is bottle 441 of 1,536.

Hanyu/Kawasaki 25 Year Old Kiyosato Field Ballet 26th Anniversary

A very rare and collectible marriage of two lost Japanese distilleries: this very limited blended whisky contains 1990 Hanyu and 1982 Kawasaki.

The Hanyu was a 25 Year Old and the Kawasaki was a 33 year old. 

Bottle number 170 of 700 bottles, however there were only 200 of the hardcover editions released which features a blown glass bottle from Kobei Komaki and stopper.

Lochside 1966 SMWS 32 Year Old 92.6

A stunning bottling of the lost distillery of Lochside from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.  

Distilled in March 1966 and bottled in September 1998 at 32 years old.

Highland Park 1967

Bottled in 1991 this is a fantastic example of Highland Park distilled in the 1960s, presented in this attractive black box inlaid with a map of the Orkney isles.

Only 2,000 of the 1967 Highland Park were released.

A very limited release from Hakushu matured exclusively in sherry casks, limited to a mere 3,000 bottles!

Highland Park 1973 Dragon

A legendary highland park, distilled in 1973 and bottled by Robertsons of Kirkwall.

The 1973 Dragon rarely appears at auction, these Robertson's of Kirkwall bottlings are very highly regarded.

The Dragon from which this whisky takes its name comes from the 12th century carving in Maes Howe neolithic tomb, Orkney.

Bottled around 1990 at 75cl.

Hanyu 1990 Single Cask #9511

A single cask bottling of this closed Japanese distillery.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2007 from single #9511, this is one of 374 bottles.

Matured in a bourbon hogshead prior to being finished in Japanese oak. 

Hanyu 2000 Single Cask #63

This is a very recent bottling of Hanyu, exclusively retailed by La Maison Du Whisky.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2015, this impressively labelled bottling was matured in a single hogshead, cask #63.

One of only 300 bottles produced.

Ladyburn 1973 27 Year Old Single Cask 

The Ladyburn Distillery was built in 1966 by William Grant & Sons Ltd and only operated for a very short period until November 15th 1975.  

Their have been very few bottlings from Ladyburn, this official single cask release is part of 18 single casks from 1973 bottled in 2000, a release totaling 3,000 bottles.  Each individual bottle carries the bottling number and cask it originated from.

This is bottle number 60 from cask number 1590. 

Hanyu 2000 Single Cask #921

The final vintage from the legendary Hanyu distillery in Japan.

This single cask was bottled in 2014. 

Hakushu Sherry Cask 2014
