Laphroaig 80 Proof / 20 Under Proof Miniature 1960s

This is about as rare a miniature as you can find, dated to 1966 kindly by Marcel Van Gils and Hans Offringa Legend of Laphroaig's book, this is a wonderfully preserved miniature of Laphroaig.

The label reads, Old Scotch Whisky Laphroaig 80 Proof.

Strength is 20 under proof.

This has been stored within an exceptional collection of miniatures. A very very rare item we are excited to offer this in our latest auction, particularly alongside another stunning example of Laphroaig's history, in miniature - a 1960s bottling of Islay Mist.

Laphroaig Cairdeas 30 Year Old

Exclusively only available at Laphroaig distillery or on their website this 30 year old Cairdeas release is a combination of approximately 60% sherry casks and 40% bourbon casks, which were then married together in bourbon casks before bottling.

This is bottle 441 of 1,536.

Courvoisier Erte Cognac No.8

A limited edition bottling of Courvoisier designed by the late Art Deco artiste Erte.

This is the eighth release which is known as 'Inedit' and contains eaux-de-vie that dates from the artist's birth 1892.

Distilled in March 1966 and bottled in September 1998 at 32 years old.

Distilled in March 1964 and in Single First fill sherry hogshead number 1534, which was bottled in June 2010 by Gordon and MacPhail.

Ladyburn 1973 27 Year Old Single Cask 

The Ladyburn Distillery was built in 1966 by William Grant & Sons Ltd and only operated for a very short period until November 15th 1975.  

Their have been very few bottlings from Ladyburn, this official single cask release is part of 18 single casks from 1973 bottled in 2000, a release totaling 3,000 bottles.  Each individual bottle carries the bottling number and cask it originated from.

This is bottle number 60 from cask number 1590. 

Longmorn 1964 Gordon and MacPhail 46 Year Old

Distilled in December 1964 and matured in Single First fill sherry hogshead number 5414, which was bottled in June 2011 by Gordon and MacPhail. 

One of 378 bottles.

Clynelish 1972 Single Malts of Scotland 34 Year Old

An absolutely cracking Clynelish from the early seventies that was bottled by Speciality Drinks Ltd in 2007 from a two Hogsheads which had been maturing for 34 years.

With only 2,772 bottles released world wide this latest edition of Lagavulin 21 year old was highly sought after at it's released in Novemeber 2012.

Wholly matured in first fill ex-sherry casks, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012.

Littlemill 1965 Silent Stills 31 Year Old 

A fantastic presentation pack from Signatory Vintage of Littlemill distilled on 25th October 1965 and bottled on 15th May 1997.

This 31 year old bottling from this closed distillery was matured in single cask #5273, this is bottle number 132 of 180.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Clynelish 1972 Rare Malt 24 Year Old 

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released within the Rare Malt Selection.  Distilled in 1972 and bottled as a 24 year old at 61.3%

Bottled in 1997.

Distilled in 2011 and matured in Mizunara wood, the Ichiro name would imply that this is a Chichibu. 

Chichibu 2009 Ichiro's Malt Single Cask #635 / No.1 Drinks 10th Anniversary

A Chichibu distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2016, matured in cask number 635 which was a bourbon barrel.

This was for the Decade anniversary of the Number One Drinks company. 

Chartreuse de Tarragona Yellow Label 1951-1959

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

Produced between 1904-1989 in Tarragona (Spain) after the Carthusian Monks were exiled from France. In 1989 the distillery in Tarragona closed down and the production of this liquor returned to France. Nowadays the bottles produce in the distillery of Tarragona have become one of the most expensive and sought after liquors in the world. The recipe contains more than 130 different plants and flowers, the Mediterranean character of the Tarragona distillery is bottled in this unique and limited liquor.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1950s.

Chichibu 2010 Single Cask #2625 / Shinanoya 100th Bottling

A single cask Chichibu bottled by Akuto Ichiro exclusively for Shinanoya, as their 100th private bottling.

Distilled in June 2010 and bottled in July 2014 from a single cask which yielded on 322 bottles.

Chichibu 2009 Ichiro's Quarter Cask #291 / Shinanoya Private Cask

Distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2012 for Shinanoya, the specialized Japanese liquor store.

Matured in Chibidaru casks, which are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed. 

Lagavulin 1991 Feis Ile 2015 24 Year Old

A triple matured Lagavulin that's spent time in bourbon wood, PX casks and oak puncheons. 

Distilled in 1991 and personally selected by Iain McArthur, a warehouseman at Lagavulin with over 40 years experience. Then bottled exclusively for the Feis Ile in 2015. 

Bottle number 2683 of 3500. 

Please note the bag is too small for the whisky, this was a common problem with the release. 

Chichibu 2009 Malt Dream Cask 545

Distilled on November 2009 and bottled 6 Years later in the same month of 2015 after maturing in a Bourbon Barrel exclusively for Oasis and AleHouse bars.

One of only 204 bottles.
