Old Fitzgerald 12 Year Old / Barreled 1955

There is ever increasing demand worldwide for whiskies such as this incredible 1955 barreled Old Fitzgerald.

These vintages of Old Fitzgerald are particularly desirable given that the production of the bottles occured at the famous and now lost Stitzel-Weller Distillery, which closed in 1992.  Combine this with the Pappy Van Winkle phenomonen, which has brought collectible bourbon to promenance over recent years, means that anything from this distillery is now incredibly sought after.

Old Fitzgerald 6 Year Old 1960s

A popular bourbon produced in Louisville. This is an older bottling of the 6 year old product from the mid 1960s as suggested by the marking 64-65 on the bottom of the glass.

86 Proof as 100 proof was not a requirement for bottles exported out of the United States.

A limited edition bottling of Courvoisier designed by the late Art Deco artiste Erte.

This is the eighth release which is known as 'Inedit' and contains eaux-de-vie that dates from the artist's birth 1892.

A fantastic label design once again from Akuto Ichiro.  Bottled exclusively for Asta Morris in Belgium.

Distilled in 2010 and matured in a 1st fill virgin hogshead number 702 before being bottled in 2016.

One of the nine Flora and Fauna releases at Cask Strength, this Caol Ila was distilled in 1981 and bottled in 1997 at 63.8%.

Chichibu 2009 Ichiro's Malt Single Cask #635 / No.1 Drinks 10th Anniversary

A Chichibu distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2016, matured in cask number 635 which was a bourbon barrel.

This was for the Decade anniversary of the Number One Drinks company. 

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt Mizunara Heads 2011 #1429

Distilled in 2011 and matured in Mizunara wood, the Ichiro name would imply that this is a Chichibu. 

Chartreuse de Tarragona Yellow Label 1951-1959

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

Produced between 1904-1989 in Tarragona (Spain) after the Carthusian Monks were exiled from France. In 1989 the distillery in Tarragona closed down and the production of this liquor returned to France. Nowadays the bottles produce in the distillery of Tarragona have become one of the most expensive and sought after liquors in the world. The recipe contains more than 130 different plants and flowers, the Mediterranean character of the Tarragona distillery is bottled in this unique and limited liquor.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1950s.

Chichibu 2009 Ichiro's Quarter Cask #291 / Shinanoya Private Cask

Distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2012 for Shinanoya, the specialized Japanese liquor store.

Matured in Chibidaru casks, which are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed. 

Old Pulteney 1977 Duncan Taylor 26 Year Old

Distilled in July 1977 and bottled January 2004 by Duncan Taylor. 

This is bottle number 12 of 209. 

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt American White Oak 2013 #2688

Distilled in 2013 and matured in a single American White Oak cask #2688, the Ichiro name would imply that this is a Chichibu.

Distilled on November 2009 and bottled 6 Years later in the same month of 2015 after maturing in a Bourbon Barrel exclusively for Oasis and AleHouse bars.

Coleburn 1965 Gordon and MacPhail 17 Year Old

Distilled in 1965 and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 17 years later..

Coleburn is one of the numerous distilleries that failed to survive the 1980s \"cull\". The distillery equipment is gone so there is almost no chance of resurrection for this Speyside distillery.

Chichibu 2009 Chibidaru Single Cask #287 / Whisky Live Tokyo 2012

This is from the new Japanese distillery Chichibu. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2013, this has been matured in Chibidaru casks. Chibidaru are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed. 

Released exclusively at Whisky Live Tokyo, 2012, this single cask Chichibu yielded on 164 bottles, this is bottle number 6.

Colonel E.H Taylor Seasoned Wood

Hailing from Buffalo Trace, this brand applies methods and mashbills comperable to those intorduced by Colonel E. H. Taylor a legendary bourbon distiller from the 1800s.

The Seasoned Wood release is a high-wheat mash bill release bottled at 100 proof, no specifics on age but is 'well over a decade' of maturation.

The casks that provide the name for this whiskyunderwent a variety of seasoning processes at Independent Stave Company, who consulted on this project.  One set of staves were immersed in an enzyme-rich bath with water heated to 100 degrees, before they were placed into kilns and dried until they reached the appropriate humidity level for crafting into barrels.  Other staves were seasoned outdoors for six months, and a further selection were left outdoors for 12 months before they were made into barrels and filled with small batch wheat recipe Bourbon.
