Macallan 1940

There were very very few distillery operational distilleries during World War Two which makes this bottle of Macallan exceptionally rare.  

Distilled in 1940 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail for Pro Nobilitate Ebert Hainzl Co, Hamburg

A very rare and hugely popular edition of Macallan 30 year old, released in the eye catching bright blue box with blue and gold labelling. 

The bottle and box is in excellent condition.

Macallan 1957 Anniversary Malt 25 Year Old 75cl

A legendary release from Macallan, bottled in 1983 and distilled in 1957.

As the label reads 'A special bottling of unblended single highland malt scotch whisky over 25 years old'.

A desirable bottle of Macallan which received 93 out of 100 from the Malt Maniacs!

The incredibly desirable and elusive Macallan 30 year old sherry oak, spends it's entire maturation period within Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez.

This recent release from Macallan carries Whisky Tint #26, signed by Bob Dalgarno.

Macallan 1965 Anniversary Malt 25 Year Old

A stunning example of Macallan 25 year old,  distilled in 1965 and bottled in 1990,  25 years later.

Matured exclusively in sherry wood.

Macallan 1979 Gran Reserva 18 Year Old

The Gran Reserva Macallan’s were release between 1997 and 2002. Distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1997, this 18 year old Macallan is widely regarded as one of the most memorable and legendary ever bottled.

Macallan Diamond Jubilee

Released in 2012 this specially designed bottle bears a unique image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II created by the sculptor Arnold Martin.

The contents of this bottle were specially chosen for the months it was drawn from the casks, 6th February, the Queen's accession and the first week in June, traditionally when the Jubilees are celebrated.  Bottled at 52% in line with the year of the Queen's accession, only 2,012 bottles were released.

Macallan 1964 Bottled 1981 75cl

A bottle of Macallan distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1981, this is a stunning example of Macallan distilled 50 years ago.

Distilled in 1969 and then matured in American oak for 35 years.

Macallan 1996 Easter Elchies 2013

The Easter Elchies single cask bottlings from Macallan are released annually exclusive to Macallan distillery.  This was released over two days in November and December 2013 to incredibly high demand and a number of unhappy customers.

Distilled in 1996 and matured until 2013, this 17 year old single sherry butt #26 yielded 390 bottles.340 were sold at the distillery, the other 50 were presumably sold to staff.

Macallan Coronation

The latest in the Macallan royal bottlings, this release from June 2013 consists of two 35cl bottles with a box designed by David Holmes. One bottle depicts the queen from 1953, matured solely in American oak sherry seasoned casks, while the other matured in Spanish sherry seasoned casks.   Only 1,953 boxes were produced to convey the date of the coronation in 1953.

Only available on Macallan’s website or at the distillery this quickly became one of the fastest selling releases of 2013.

Macallan 1999 Easter Elchies 2012

The Easter Elchies single cask bottlings from Macallan are released annually exclusive to Macallan distillery.  

Distilled in 1999 and matured until 2012, this 13 year old single sherry butt #6697 yielded 400 bottles.

The 2010 Easter Elchies bottling was from a single sherry butt cask #432, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2010.

Also included is a miniature of from the same cask.

Bottled under Gordon and Macphail's Speymalt banner, this Macallan was distilled in 1966 and bottled 32 years later in 1998.

These independant old Macallan's are a bargain compared to their official release counter parts.

Whisky Tint #24 and signed by whisky maker Bob Dalgarno.

Macallan 1990 Exceptional Cask #24680

This is the forth release in the Exceptional cask range. 

Distilled in December 1990, matured in sherry butt number 24680 then bottled in Jauary 2003. 

Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2004 described this bottle as \" For this, Unquestionably, is the greatest Macallan of them all \"

Macallan 1989 Exceptional Cask #552 (Signed)

This is the fifth release in the Exceptional cask range. 

Distilled in January 1989, matured in Oloroso sherry butt number 552 then bottled in November 2003. 

The box is signed by Macallan Master distiller Bob Dalgarno.

Macallan 1967 Duncan Taylor 35 Year Old US Import 75cl  

A Macallan distilled in September 1967 and bottled in September 2002 by Duncan Taylor within their Peerless range of whiskies.

Matured in cask number 7682. 

Bottle number 106 of 125.

This Coleburn was distilled in March 1978 and bottled in February 1998. 

Macallan 1973 Speymalt 33 Year Old US Import 75cl

Bottled under Gordon and Macphail's Speymalt banner, this Macallan was distilled in 1973 and bottled 33 years later in 2006.  

These independant old Macallan's are a bargain compared to their official release counter parts.

Miyagikyo 1999 Single Cask #67223

Miyagikio is made from four different types of malt whiskies distilled at Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery.

Distilled in October 1999 and bottled in July 2013.

Midleton Very Rare 2003 Edition

This famous blend of whiskies was produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare was released in very limited quantities on an annual basis since 1984, until 2012 when it was replaced by the equally desirable and acclaimed Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks.  Each bottle carries a signature from Barry Crocket and has an individual bottle number, this particular bottle is #4157.

Certificate is included attached to the inside of the box.

Macallan 1990 18 Year Old 

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008.

This was released for the Taiwanese market.
