Demerara 1985 UF30E 27 Year Old Rum​

A 27 year old rum from Demerara Distillery in Guyana, bottled from barrels marked UF30E in 2012 by Velier.

3 barrels produced 814 bottles.

Daly's Tullamore 1952 Cadenhead's 38 Year Old

Today Tullamore Dew is a very popular Irish blend, however historically Tullamore was a historic site for distilling since the 1780s with a distillery being built on the site in 1829. This Daly's distillery produced a range of whiskies.

The Dew took it's name from Daniel E Williams, the hugely successful manager of the distillery who worked there over a 60 year stretch. 

The distillery operated until 1954 when it closed. This whisky was distilled in 1952 and bottled in 1991, as a 38 year old, by Cadenhead's at cask strength.

Caol Ila 1967 Duthie for Corti 75cl / US Import​

Distilled in 1967 at Caol Ila and bottled in 1983 by R.W Duthie & Co of Aberdeen, this was for the Corti Brothers of Sacramento. 

Dalmore 20 Year Old 1960s

A stunning example of Dalmore, produced in the 1960's.  This Duncan Macbeth bottling is incredibly difficult to find these days along with the younger 8 and 12 year old bottles produced around the same time.  

It is highly likely that the contents of this whisky were distilled in the 1940's, post WWII.

Serge Valentin at WhiskyFun gave this old Dalmore an astonishing 93 points.

Caol Ila 1977 Rare Malt 20 Year Old 75cl / 61.30%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Caol Ila was distilled in 1977 and bottled in the October 1998 release, again at a high abv of 61.30%. This is a particularly rare, Rare Malt.

Caroni 1974 Full Proof 34 Year Old Heavy Trinidad Rum​

Distilled at Caroni in 1974 and matured at their distillery until 2008.

Clynelish 12 Year Old Ainslie and Heilbron Full Proof 1973 Rotation / Edward & Edward Import​

Distilled in the early 1970s at Brora, this legendary Clynelish was imported by Whiskyteca Edward & Edward in Italy in the 1980's. Bottled at 56.8%.

This particular bottling was rated a very good 93 points from Serge Valentin on Whiskyfun.com

Nikka Taketsuru On The Road Case 5 x 70cl

A suitcase style presentation box paying homage to the trunk that that Matasaka Taketsuru, founder of Nikka, carried with him on his journey through Scotland nearly 100 years ago. The set contains:

• Taketsuru Pure Malt, 43% vol.
• Taketsuru 12 Year Old (now discontinued) 40% vol.
• Taketsuru 17 Year Old, 43% vol.
• Taketsuru 21 Year Old, 43% vol.
• Taketsuru 25 Year Old, 43% vol.

This Taketsuru 21 was crowned World's Best Blended Malt Whisky at the 2010 World Whiskies Awards!

Clynelish 12 Year Old Ainslie and Heilbron 1970s

A stunning example of Clynelish bottled by Ainslie and Heilbron, now considered to be quite legendary as bottlings of this was likely produced at the old Clynelish distillery, now more commonly known as Brora.   

This bottling comes in the form of 70 proof and a quantity of 26 2/3 fl oz.

Compass Box Lady Luck

A blended malt from the boutique blenders Compass Box containing Caol Ila and Imperial aged in American White Oak Hogshead.

Limited to 754 bottles and released in September 2009.

This is a fantastically tasty whisky, a great favourite here at Whisky Auctioneer!

Clynelish 1971 Signatory Vintage 28 Year Old

Bottled by Signatory, this Clynelish was distilled in on the 4th of March 1971 and bottled in July 1999

Casl #2707.

Bottle number 114 of only 285 bottles produced.

Domaine De La Romanee-Conti 1995 Fine Bourgogne Brandy

From the internationally-acclaimed Burgundian winery, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, we present this Fine Bourgogne Brandy.

The appellation \"Fine Bourgogne\" was only created by Decree (No. 2011-283) on the 17th of March 2011, making this only the 4th specified appellation for French Brandy - alongside Armagnac, Cognac and Calvados.

Using wine grapes as the base for distillation, the spirit (at this stage, a Marc or eaux-di-vie) is then matured in oak barrels for a minimum period of 3 years before bottling.

This brandy was distilled from grapes grown during the 1995 vintage, the spirit matured in oak barrels until being estate-bottled on the 24th of November 2011.

Convalmore-Glenlivet 1962 Cadenhead's 16 Year Old

As Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead’s have long been known for releasing stunning whiskies but none more so than those from their famous ‘dumpy’ series, which features some incredible 1950s and 60s vintages. Whisky from this bygone era of production have become increasingly elusive in recent years, making them exceptionally desirable. 

This Convalmore was distilled in November 1962 and bottled in June 1979

Distilled on the 22nd March 1973 and matured in American oak before being finished in Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass, Jerez de la Frontera, bottled as a 30 year old.

An exciting new release from Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu. 

Distilled in 2009 and aged in French white wine cask #2369 until 2017.

North Port 1979 Rare Malt 19 Year Old 75cl / 61%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This North Port was distilled in 1979 and bottled 19 years later in October 1998.

Cardow 1962 Cadenhead's 16 Year Old / Cardhu

Caroni 1969 Moon Import 10th Anniversary​

A 1969 vintage Caroni rum from the now lost distillery, bottled in the 1980's.

Unusual to say the least, the front label celebrates the Moon Import 10th Anniversary.

Compass Box Last Vatted Malt

In the final day before the 2009 Scotch Whisky regulations were enacted (22/11/2009) Compass Box released both this and the \"Last Vatted Malt\". From that day forward the word \"Vatted\" was no longer legitimate and has been replaced with \"Blended\". So now Blended Malts and Blended Grains are the acceptable nomenclature.

This is a combination of old Speyside and Islay single malts. 

One of 1,323 bottles.

A fantastic old bottling of Clynelish by Ainslie & Heilbron distillers but bottled by Gordon and MacPhail, making it a semi-official bottling. 

Imported by Di Chiano for the Italian market in the 1970's.
