Macallan 30 Year Old Fine Oak

Macallan 30 year old Fine Oak edition matured in a mixture of European and American oak casks.  

Midleton Very Rare 1993 Edition 

This famous blend of whiskies was initially produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett, and has been released in very limited quantities on  an annual basis since 1984 right up to the current year. In 2012, when Barry  Crockett retired, in his honour Irish Distillers released the acclaimed 'Barry  Crockett Legacy' whiskey. In 2013, Brian Nation took over as Master Distiller and he has carried on the proud Midleton Very Rare tradition right up to the present day.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks. Each bottle is individually numbered and carries the signature of the Master Distiller.

Macallan 1969 Averys for Corti 8 Year Old / US Import​

A Macallan distilled in 1969 and bottled in Summer 1978 by Averys of Bristol in England.

Imported to the USA for the Corti Brothers. 

Karuizawa Noh 27 Year Old Multi-Vintages #1 / Kamiasobi - Matsukaze

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim.

This series features different masks used in Noh, one of Japan's traditional performing arts. This image features the mask of the Noh character, Matsukaze, a female ghost who is the central character in a popular Noh play of her name.

This limited multi-vintage release was blended from whiskies distilled in 1981,1982, 1983 & 1984 and bottled in October 2011.

Produced from four selected sherry butts and bourbon casks: #6405, #4973, #8184 and #6437.

This release was selected by La Maison Du Whisky.

Karuizawa 1994 Full Proof Single Cask #2221

Full Proof Europe have bottled a number of Japanese single malts from Hanyu and Karuizawa, always with interesting labels.

This Karuizawa was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2005 from an ex-Glenlivet sherry butt, cask #2221.

Karuizawa and Kawasaki Ghost Series #7 / Time Slip 

The latest Nonjatta Ghost series release, #7 is an incredibly exciting release, the whisky is a blend of malt from Karuizawa and grain from Kawasaki - both legendary closed Japanese distilleries.

The whisky was blended at birth and laid to rest in glass, not oak! During the 1980s the liquid was then returned to wood, an ex-Spanish oak that had previously contained Karuizawa spirit.  This 'finishing' or 'Aceing' period occured until bottling late in 2015.

The guys at Nonjatta, perhaps as no suprise got incredibly excited by this, hence after tasting it they realised something had to be done to release this intriguing bottle of whisky.

The label features the print 'The Ghost of Taira no Tomomori Appears at Daimotsu Bay' from Yoshitoshi's 'New Forms of 36 Ghosts'.

Macallan 8 Year Old Easter Elchies Seasonal Selection 

The Easter Elchies Seasonal Selection dates from 2005-2007 before the season aspects of the bottlings were removed.  

This \"Summer\" was bottled as an 8 year old with only 550 bottles produced.

Macallan 12 Year Old Woodland Estate Limited Edition

A limited edition 12 year old sherry matured Macallan originally only available to distillery visitors in the mid-2000s.

Bottle number 25 of 1,000. Each bottle has a correspondingly numbered tree planted in the distillery's ground.

From this incredibly popular lost Japanese distillery, which has produced so many internationally acclaimed malts.

Distilled in 1982 and bottled from a Spanish oak Sherry butt #2230 in 2008.

A bit of a rarity, these 1968 Macallans was bottled by BBR in 1979.

A discontinued and much loved cask strength 10 year old Macallan, this is a very early example coming from the 1980's.

Macallan 15 Year Old Gran Reserva​

This 2017 release of the Gran Reserva is bottled as a 15 year old for the very first time. Matured for the most part in first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks.

The casks are tended to and prepared by Macallan's in-house Master of Wood before being transferred into the care of their Master Distiller for filling and being set down to mature for 15 years.

The 2017 Gran Reserva was released exclusively to successful entrants of an online ballot, and strictly limited to one per customer. The bottle count is rumoured to be just 1500, making this rarer than both the in-demand Coronation and Diamond Jubilee releases.

Miyagikyo 1987 Single Cask #89698​

Miyagikyo is made from four different types of malt whiskies distilled at Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery.

Distilled on 16th November 1987 and and bottled on 1st August 2005 from single cask #89698.

Kawasaki 1982 100th Anniversary / Single Sherry Cask #7452

Only a handful of single casks have ever been bottled from this lost Japanese grain distillery.

This 1982 vintage was released in 2011 from sherry butt number G7452 and bottled as the 100th Anniversary Exceptional Taiwan Edition.

One of 663 Bottles.

As with many of the Karuizawa bottlings that we list in our auctions, this label is fantastic! 

This is a single cask distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2015.

Single cask #2326 was a sherry cask that yielded 495 bottles.

Michter's 20 Year Old Limited Release Bourbon​

A very rare well aged bourbon, the Michter's 20 year old is produced from quality American corn and matured in hand selected charred white oak barrels. 

This 20 year old, presented in an elegant tall bottle with silver wax was released in batch Number L16H956

Only 588 bottles of this were released. This bottle is number 489.
