Macallan Rare Cask Black Steven Klein

A new Rare Cask created from the 'Dark, Mysterious Warehouses' of the The Macallan Distillery.

This is a one-off relatively small release of less than 100 casks, predominantly first fill sherry casks of European and American oak.

With a touch of smoke, the Rare Cask Black contains whisky from peat spirit produced at Macallan.

This new Macallan was released as part of the Masters of Photography range and displays imagery created by Steven Klein.

Dallas Dhu 1982 Historic Scotland 24 Year Old Cask Strength​

Distilled in 1982 not long before the distilleries closure then bottled in 2007 by Historic Scotland, the Government body that runs the former distillery as a museum.

Word on the street is that they are making moves to start the distillery back up and running. 

Cask number 3739 and bottle number 499.

Midleton Very Rare 2000 Edition

This famous blend of whiskies was initially produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett, and has been released in very limited quantities on  an annual basis since 1984 right up to the current year. In 2012, when Barry Crockett retired, in his honour Irish Distillers released the acclaimed 'Barry  Crockett Legacy' whiskey. In 2013, Brian Nation took over as Master Distiller and he has carried on the proud Midleton Very Rare tradition right up to the present day.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks. Each bottle is individually numbered and carries the signature of the Master Distiller.

Milk & Honey Israel's First Single Malt Whisky : Bottle #091

Distilled on 14th January 2014, this 3 year old whisky has been matured in 225 Litre virgin American Oak casks, before being finished in ex-Bourbon wood.

Israel's hot climate ensures that this single malt spirit has developed a mature and complex character well beyond its years, with tasting notes of citrus, spice and marzipan - light bodied and finely balanced. 

The release comprised of 391 bottles in total.

Cask # 2014-001 was bottled on 2nd April 2017

A single cask release from the Irish distillery. Distilled on 7th May 1998 and matured in a first fill sherry butt #43233.

Recent years have seen awards and plaudits shower down upon distilleries that have pioneered whisky production within their own countries, think of Taiwan’s Kavalan and Japan’s Yamazaki. Bottled at cask strength in 2012. All 562 bottles feature the artwork Campbeltown Loch Bar by Paola Pares.

This Mortlach was distilled in 1972  and bottled as a 22 year old in the mid 1990's.

Delauriere Fine-Champagne Cognac Circa 1920/1940s​

An incredibly old bottle of Cognac bottled by Boutilliere Delauriere & Co.  Fine-Champagne Cognacs are distilled from grapes sourced only from the prestigious Grande-Champagne and Petite-Champagne sub-regions.

The sole label on this bottle declared \"Vieille Reserve\" (Old Reserve) indicating that this Cognac perhaps matured for a long period of time in oak casks before bottling.

We estimate this bottle to be from the early 20th Century, likely between 1920 and 1940. Similar bottles have been known to contain vintages of Cognac from the early 1800s.

An excellent well-aged bottling of Mortlach from Gordon & MacPhail, bottled at some point in the 1980's. 

Presented in a very nice crystal style decanter.

Imported by Sestante for the Italian market.

The Macallan Decades, consists of four whiskies that were created to recreate the style of whiskies from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.

This bottle was created to replicate the style of Macallan from the 1920s.

Millburn 1979 SMWS 13 Year Old 87.2

Distilled February 1979 and bottled March 1992 from the now closed Millburn in Inverness.

Likely one of the first bottles produced in 70cl as the label shows the original 75cl redacted and the 70cl printed beside it. 

Macallan Private Eye 5cl Miniature

A very famous miniature. The Macallan Private eye was released to commemorate the 35^th Anniversary of the Private Eye.  

The unique label design on the Private Eye bottlings were created by the famous artist Ralph Steadman.
