Tormore 1984 Cadenhead's 33 Year Old​

Distilled in April 1984 and bottled by Cadenhead in Autumn 2017 at 33 years old.

One of 132 bottles.

Talisker 1986 Distillers Edition / First Release 

The earliest issue of this Double matured series from the Isle of Skye, finished in Jerez Amoroso cask-wood.

Distilled 1986 and bottled 1999.

Teaninich 17 Year Old 2017 Release​

Distilled in 1999, this was released in 2017 as part of Diageo's special releases, and also commemorates the 200th anniversary of the distillery.

Octomore Comus 4.2 

Peated equally to the Octomore 4.1 release at a massive 167ppm, this was finished in Sauternes casks.  As with the Octomore Orpheus, the Comus has received quite a cult following providing a powerful peaty dram with an elegant sweet character provided by what is recognised as perhaps the world’s greatest desert wine.   

Only 18,000 bottles were produced.

The first 1988 release from Tomatin, matured in bourbon barrels and port pipes, and presented in a fantastic oak case.

Orphan Barrel Entrapment 25 Year Old Canadian Whiskey​ 

Part of the Diageo's Orphan Barrel series which is produced from casks of Bourbon that have been forgotten about in the many Rickhouses and Distilleries that cover the United States.... and now Canada. 

This bottle consists of liquid produced at the Gimli distillery in Canada. This distillery is most famous for producing Crown Royal. 

Teaninich 1972 Rare Malt 23 Year Old 20cl / 64.8%​

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Ditsilled in 1972 and bottled 23 years later.

Old Crow Traveller Fifth Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1970s

A 1970s bottling of Kentucky Bourbon. 

Old Crow is was one of Kentucky's earliet bourbons, founded in the 1830s by Scottish imigrant James C. Crow. 

Heaven Ocean Whisky 66cl / Contains Karuizawa

A very rare and wonderful old bottling of Japanese whisky.

A blend produced by Ocean, former owners of Karuizawa, likely to contain a high proportion of the legendary liquid.  

A very interesting bottle from Japan and one containing whiskies we can rarely try or find on the market these days, a real piece of Japanese whisky history!

Ocean Black / Karuizawa Pre-1985​

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks, which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

Believed to be from before 1985, this bottle of Japanese whisky was produced by Sanraku Ocean Co. the parent company of Merican, who were owners of Karuizawa distillery. This enabled the company to use Karuizawa in their 'Ocean' line of whiskies.

Teeling 21 Year Old Silver Bottling Vintage Reserve

A 21 year old single malt whisky bottled by Teeling from batch number #5 of their Silver Bottling releases.

Bottle number 2557 of only 5000 bottles. 

Date bottled: 21st August 2015.

A bottle of blended Scotch Whisky bottled for Otto Schmidt Wine Co. of Chicago Ilinois. It's estimated this bottle is from around 1910.

Old Grand-Dad Bourbon 1970s / Giovinetti Import

Featuring the image of Basil Hayden, Old Grand-dad is a classic of the bourbon world. 

This would have been produced and released prior to Jim Beam purchasing the brand in 1987. 

Giovinetti import for the Italian market.

Talisker 1989 Friends of The Classic Malts

A limited edition of 7,000 bottles, released exclusively to 'Friends of the Classic Malts'.  

This is a rare example of an official bottle of Talisker carrying a vintage, in this case from 1989, bottled at 10 years old in 1999 at a cask strength of 59.3%

This small batch blend was specially created by Teeling master blender Alex Chasko for the Irish Whisky Society and bottled on the 26th September 2013.

Orphan Barrel Rhetoric 23 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey

They plan to release one batch series per year to show the effect of maturation time. 

Taketsuru Nikka Fortune ‘80

From the date on the bottle this appears to have been produced in 1988, this is a Taketsuru from the 1980s. 

Taketsuru is a blend from Nikka so no doubt contains both Miyagikyo and Yoihci, the blend takes its name from Nikka founder Masataka Taketsuru.

Octomores Futures 'The Beast'

Distilled on 9th November 2004 and bottled in April 2011 the futures releases were only ever available at Bruichladdich distillery.

Peated to a massive 167 ppm, malted using Optic barley and matured in a bourbon cask.  

No wonder it's named 'The Beast'.
