Glenugie 1966 Samaroli 33 Year Old / One of 108 Bottles

A very rare bottling of Glenugie by the legendary bottler Samaroli.

This incredibly rare Glenugie is not often seen at auction and that is not surprising as only 108 bottles were released in 1999 from single cask #5822.

Glendronach 1968 25 Year Old / Air Nippon Airways

There are a number of famous Glendronach's from 1968 and this is no different, This was a single cask bottled for Nippon Airways. 

The original Glendronach 25 year old from 1968 was described by Serge Valentin from Whisky Fun as a 'A tremendous sherry monster''. It scored it 90 points.

Cask number 13, bottle number 177 of only 487.

The single sherry wood cask only produced 300 bottles, cask number 1.239 was filled in 1971 and bottled in 1997.

A single cask Glenfiddich distilled in 1978 was matured for 34 years until being hand bottled at the distillery on 17th October 2012. 

This single cask American hoghsead number #11807 this is bottle number 157 of 180.

Released as part of Gordon and MacPhail's private collection this is a very well aged Glen Grant.

Distilled on 16 April 1953 and bottled Aug 2001 from cask #'s 1860 and 1864

Glendronach 1968 25 Year Old 75 cl / US Import

There are a number of famous Glendronach's from 1968 and this is no different. Originally bottled for the US market - a few went missing and were eventually discovered in a warehouse and sold here in the UK. 

This is the original Glendronach 25 year old from 1968, which Serge Valentin from Whisky Fun explains is 'A tremendous sherry monster', scoring 90 pts.

Bottled in 1986 by R.W. Duthie & Co of Aberdeen, this was for the Corti Borthers of Sacramento.

A single cask Glenfiddich distilled 24th August 1992 and bottled after 25 years from Cask #34748.

Bottle #22 of 618.

The carving on the box was designed by Taiwanese artist Joe Fang, and depicts the distillery's rich history in the style of a traditional Taiwanese window grill.

Distilled on Halloween, the 31st of October 1985 and bottled on the 1st of November 2017 from cask #8377 at 32 years old. 'The Spirit of Rothes.' 

Presented in an elegant wooden display case with a lower drawer containing art and information cards.

Glen Flagler 1973 30 Year Old

A very rare bottling of this long lost distillery that was once part of the Moffat distilling complex, Glenflagler was produced between 1965 and 1985.

This 30 year old official release from Inverhouses is a combination of the five  last remaining casks of Glen Flagler that belonged to Inverhouse.

A release of only 931 bottles this is bottle number 324.

Includes a lovely wooden box and certificate of authenticity. Box contains an internal image of racehorse Red Rum, who won the Grand National during the year of bottling.

A bottle with a tale attached!

Filled on the 10th May 1993 into cask #1946 and bottled on 7th September 2005.

Part of a series of oak experiments by Bill Lumsden, the others being Missouri Oak, Truffle Oak, Post Oak and Burr Oak.

Swamp Oak was the lowest outturn of the series, with only 247 bottles produced and was intended for release in the North American market.

It is believed that the entire shipment of bottles was lost in transit and so never made it to open market. After several years the bottles were recovered and returned to Glenmorangie, where the majority are still held.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
