Talisker 1952 Gordon and MacPhail 21 Year Old​ / Pinerolo​ Import

This Talisker was distilled on Skye in 1952 and bottled as 21 year old by Gordon and MacPhail using their Connoisseur's Choice branding in the 1970s.

Talisker 1955 Gordon MacPhail Secret Stills No. 1.1​

As with the rest of the Secret Stills range the distillery is at which this single malt was produced is a feircly guarded secret.. They do, however, offer a clue that it was distilled at Carbost on the Isle of Skye. Will we ever solve this mystery?

This Talis... *AHEM* secret Skye malt, was distilled in 1955 and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail circa 50 years later in 2005.

At half a century old, this is a genuine rarity.

An absolutely stunning bottle of Talisker, distilled in 1947 and bottled at some point in the late 1970's or early 1980's by Gordon and MacPhail.

Pinerolo import for the Italian market.

The Last Drop 1960 Blended Whisky

A cask strength blend of a truly amazing age. Distilled in 1960, it was blended and decanted into fresh sherry butts in 1972 where it was left to rest and mature until 2008 when it was bottled by hand. By this point less than half of the original contents remained, leaving only enough for 1347 bottles.

Many of the malts that comprise this blend come from now silent distilleries.

This was named Blend of the Year in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2010.

Complete with stopper and 5cl miniature.

Taketsuru 25 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru. Originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe.

Tullibardine 1965 Cask Strength

Distilled in 1965 and bottled in May 2005 from a single Hogshead. 

Cask #949 yielded 199 bottles.

Taketsuru 25 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru, originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe, this bottle was released in Asia. 

Tomatin 1962 Douglas Laing 42 Year Old / Skorupa​

A fantastically well-aged Tomatin, distilled in February 1962 and and bottled exclusively for Germany's Skorupa by Douglas Laing within the Old Malt Cask series.

One of 105 bottled at natural cask strength from cask #1391.

Tamdhu 1966 Douglas Laing 34 Year Old​

An independent 34 year old bottling of Tamdhu from Douglas Laing.

Bottled October 2000.

Vale Royal Wedderburn Jamaican Rum Averys for Corti 9 Year Old 1970s / US Import​

This is a truly special bottle. The terms Wedderburn and Vale Royal are both fairly obscure, though both are used to refer to specific, high ester rums particular to Jamaica.

Wedderburn rum was a classification of heavy rum that would usually be used to give weight and flavour to blended rums - much like malt or peated whisky in blends - and is rarely seen unblended. 

The popular Jamaica rum Smith and Cross, for example, is a blend of Wedderburn, mellowed out with milder Plummer style rum. 

Vale Royal on the other hand is generally used to connote rum produced in the 'style' of Vale Royal, the residence of the Prime Minister of Jamaica, which also housed a now defunct estate distillery.

There is speculation that the original Vale Royal stills are now situated at Long Pond and that this is where modern Vale Royal rum is produced.

Irrespective, not only is this is a phenomenally rare style of high ester, Jamaica rum, it is also one of a handful of bottles produced for Corti brothers in the 1970s, which are highly sought after and have a near cult like status amongst collectors and counnosures.

Tomatin 1973 Single Cask​

Distilled in 1973 and then bottled in January 2006, this was matured in cask number 25605.

A very exclusive bottling of Teeling, distilled in 1987 and initially matured for 25 years in bourbon casks prior to a further 1 year of maturation in a French white Burgundy wine casks.

A Tobermory, distilled in 1972 and bottled 8 years later by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range.

Pinerolo import for the Italian market.

The Hielanman Spirit Drink 45 Year Old / Distilled 1971 Bottled 2017

Strongly rumored to be Glenfarclas, this is a single malt that has fallen below the 40% abv point so is required to be called Spirit Drink. 

Bottled for Cadenhead's 175th Anniversary there were only 75 bottles released.

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

In recent years, due to the supply shortage of bourbon, rye whiskeys - including those of Thomas H. Handy - have both become increasingly popular, and then increasingly harder to get hold of.  Particularly so after the T.H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey 2011 release was named Jim Murray's \"Whisky of the Year!\"

Taketsuru 21 Year Old 80th Anniversary

This blend range is named after Nikka founder and key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

This blended malt was released to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Nikka, which was established in 1934.

Only 984 bottles were released.

Teaninich 1972 Rare Malt 27 Year Old / 64.2%

Released at natural cask strength of 64.20%.

Distilled 1972 and bottled October 2000.

Tomintoul 1981 Single Cask #5985​

A rare official single cask Tomintoul, distilled on 30th October 1981 and bottled from single bourbon cask #5985 on 6th October 2014.

Very Olde St Nick Lot 12 Ancient Cask Bourbon

Very Olde St Nick was a bourbon brand designed for the Japanese export market.

The whisky has been widely connected with many of the Bardstown distilleries during different periods and for different reasons, though none have ever confirmed their supply to this brand.

The 2016 bottling features 61 hand-picked barrels which were filled in the spring of 2010 at 125 Proof (62.5%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2016 after 6 years and 3 months of ageing at 126.2 Proof (63.1%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Minnesota Rye, Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn and North Dakota malted barley.
