Macallan 1940 Fine And Rare 35 Year Old

Distilled in 1940, originally bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 1975 as a 35 year old, and re-bottled officially by Macallan in 2002.

Legendary spirit which is now part of the Fine and Rare range, the pinnacle of Macallan's excellence.

Macallan 1949 Millennium 50 Year Old

An amazing bottle of whisky, released by Macallan to commemorate the turn of the millenium.   This whisky is among the most desirable and sought after whiskies on the market, it represents the most luxiourious of Macallan, not only in presentation and quality, but also in rarity and age.

Distilled on 14th January 1949 and released as a 50 year old presented in an elegant decanter designed by Caithness Glass along with a stopper and an impressive 'fitted' lockable hard wood case.  The copper used for the ingot and neck were retrieved from No.9 spirit still at Macallan distillery.

Macallan 1959 100 Proof

It's very rare to see these older bottles of Macallan, bottled at cask strength.

Distilled in 1959 this Macallan was bottled at some point in the 1970s by Gordon and MacPhail at 100 UK Proof (57.15%) after being matured in ex-Sherry casks.

Distilled in 1959 this very old bottling of Macallan was bottled in 1978/79, by Gordon and MacPhail at 80 UK Proof.

A stunning example of Macallan 25 year old, distilled in 1967 and bottled 25 years later in 1992. 

Matured exclusively in sherry wood.

Macallan 25 Year Old Decanter

A beautifully presented Macallan Decanter bottled at 25 years old.

The hand blown English crystal decanter is often referred to as the 'Tudor Decanter'.  The writing on the decanter is difficult to make out on the images but carries a large 'M'.

Includes a well designed branded Macallan box and crystal stopper.

Michter's Single Barrel 25 Year Old / Bottle #1

A very rare well aged straight rye, the Michter's 25 year old is produced from quality American corn and matured in hand selected charred white oak barrel. 

This 25 year old, presented in an elegant tall bottle with copper colour wax comes from barrel No. 11402D

Only 25 Bottles were released and this is bottle #1!

Macallan Royal Wedding

The first of the Royal releases from Macallan is a limited edition bottling of only 1,000 bottles celebrating the Royal Marriage of Prince William to Catherine Middleton on 29th April 2011.

Bottled from two casks, both filled on 29th April – one from 1996 and one from 1999.

The creation of this special bottle follows the release of a commemorative edition to mark the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. This comprised two casks, one from each of their birth years. At the time, the bottle sold out and today is highly sought-after by collectors of The Macallan around the world.

In keeping with this original bottling, The Macallan commissioned the creative force behind the 1981 bottle, David Holmes, who was also one of the architects of their advertising campaign in the 1980s and the early 1990s, to create the label and packaging design.

Michter's 20 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon

A very rare well aged bourbon, the Michter's 20 year old is produced from quality American corn and matured in hand selected charred white oak barrel. 

This 20 year old, presented in an elegant tall bottle with silver wax was released from barrel No. #L15I739.  

Only 113 bottles of this were released, this is bottle #32.

Miyagikio 1988 SMWS 16 Year Old 124.1

Distilled in February 1988 and then aged for 16 years.

Mortlach 1971 Duthie for Corti 15 Year Old

A fantastic 15 year old whisky, distilled in 1971.

Bottled in 1986 by R.W Duthie & Co of Aberdeen, this was for the Corti Brothers of Sacramento. 

Macallan 1987 18 Year Old 

18 year old Macallan, distilled in 1987.

Presented in their matt box, rather than the shinier more recent bottlings!

Mortlach 1972 Rare Malt 22 Year Old 75cl / 65.3%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Mortlach was distilled in 1972  and bottled as a 22 year old in the mid 1990s.

Bottle number 1808.

MacPhail's 1937 Gordon and MacPhail 50 Year Old

A absolutely stonking sinlge malt from 1937 bottled by Gordon and MacPhail 50 years later in 1987. 

The whisky is from a Speyside distillery...  apparently Macallan.

Midleton Very Rare 1994 Edition 

This famous blend of whiskies was produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare was released in very limited quantities on an annual basis since 1984, until 2012 when it was replaced by the equally desirable and acclaimed Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks.  Each bottle carries a signature from Barry Crocket and has an individual bottle number, this particular bottle is #15255.
