This Connoisseur's Choice bottling was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1993.

Bruichladdich 1986 Blacker Still 20 Year Old

Bruichladdich released the Blacker Still in 2006, matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks for 20 years. 

This was the first release in the ‘Still’ series and quickly became an icon of collectable Bruichladdich. 

Only 2840 bottles were produced, this is bottle number 1461 of 2840.

Macallan Oscuro  

Now discontinued, this was released at the higher end of Macallan's 1824 series.

The Macallan Oscuro was created using whisky distilled between 1987 and 1997 and in true Macallan fashion is full of plenty of sherried characteristics.

Bruichladdich 1970  35 Year Old 125th Anniversary

This 35 year old Bruichladdich was bottled to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the distillery.

Presented in a lovely wooden box including a certificate of authenticity.

Brora 1978 Gordon and Macphail 35 Year Old

Released recently by Gordon and Macphail, this 35 year old Brora was distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2013.

Limited to 218 bottles. 

Please note wear to box, a very common issue to the range from G&M as the clasps were often an incorrect fit.

A 21 year old Brora distilled in 1977 and bottled in October 1998.

Brora 1977 Rare Malt 21 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Brora closed in 1983 and over the years has contributed to 13 different Rare Malt Selection releases.  This bottle was distilled in 1977 and bottled in October 1998 as a 21 year old.

Bowmore 25 Year Old/ The Gulls

Yet another of Bowmore's many legends.

Back in the day, When the Scots traveled from their Celtic lands to create the Kingdom of Dalriada-in-Alban, the Pictish and Brythonic tribes who already lived in the lands resisted fiercely. Legend says that the daughter of a Pictish King fell in love with a captured Scottish warrior and helped him escape. Together they fled westwards to Islay. Rowing towards the young warrior's home on the shores of Loch Indaal, a terrible storm assaulted their boat, sending it crashing into the rocky coast line.

The young Scot's clansmen found only debris and no sign of the lovers - but a pair of white gulls soared and swooped together across the Loch, settling neither on the western nor the eastern shore, as if torn between the two.

... on the whisky front this is a 25 year old Bowmore presented in a stunning blue decanter with a stylish box.

Banff 1964 Cadenhead's 15 Year Old

This Aberdeenshire distillery has been closed since the 1980s.

Distilled in February 1964  and bottled by Cadenhead's in March 1979.

The condition is excellent.

Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #2

A marriage of 7 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks went into creating Batch 2, a limited release of 2,226 bottles. A very highly sought after range from Balvenie.

As with the other releases of Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Seven traditional whisky casks and three sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel.

The expression consists of the casks shown below.

As with the previous releases of Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Nine traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel.

The expression has been exclusively created for the travel retail market and consists of the casks shown below.

Bushmills 1975 Millenium Malt Single Cask Exclusive for 'The Angels' Share'

A rare single cask bottling of Bushmills, distilled in 1975 and bottled exclusive for 'The Angels' Share' at the turn of the millenium.

One of 264 bottles.

Similiarly to the Comus, the Orpheus release was equally peated to the same degree as its counter-part Octomore 2.1, at 140ppm.  The Orpheus was finished using Château Pétrus Bordeaux casks, recognised as one of the world’s top vineyards.  Matured for only 5 years this alongside the Comus have proven to be quite desirable bottlings.

Similiarly to the Comus, the Orpheus release was equally peated to the same degree as its counter-part Octomore 2.1, at 140ppm.  The Orpheus was finished using Château Pétrus Bordeaux casks, recognised as one of the world’s top vineyards.  Matured for only 5 years this alongside the Comus have proven to be quite desirable bottlings.

Brora 1981 Signatory Vintage 21 Year Old 

A Brora distilled in 1981 then bottled in 2003, matured in refill sherry butt number 1422. A rare opportunity to try Brora at a younger age.

Octomore Discovery Feis Ile 2014 

Perhaps the most desirable of the new Feis Ile releases, this is the first time Bruichladdich has released an Octomore for Feis Ile and it is incredibly limited with only 1,695 bottles being released.

Distilled on the 18th February 2007 and bottled for the 2014 Bruichladdich Open Day at Feis Ile, with a very impressive abv of 69.5%.
