Bowmore 1964 Single Cask (Bottle number 5 of 99 )

Released for Oddbins in the year 2000, bottled from single cask 3709, this sherry hogshead cask was from the same batch of casks as the legendary Black Bowmore series. 

Unsurprisingly for such a limited release, this is extremely rare. 

This lot includes the miniature that originally came along with the product, the key to keep the cabinet locked and the flyer that Oddbins released to promote the Whisky.

Bowmore Fly Fishing Championships 2003

A very limited bottle of Bowmore that was released for the European Fly Fishing championships on Islay in 2003.

Brora 30 Year Old 2007 Release

The 2007 release of Brora from Diageo, similiar to other releases prior to this it is a 30 year old.

Bottle number 1,283 of 2,958.

Brora 1972 Gordon and Macphail 1993

One of Brora's legendary 1972 vintage bottlings from Gordon and Macphail, the majority of which have scored well into the 90s from Whisky Fun.

This Connoisseur's Choice bottling was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1993.

Bruichladdich 1986 Blacker Still 20 Year Old

Bruichladdich released the Blacker Still in 2006, matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks for 20 years. 

This was the first release in the ‘Still’ series and quickly became an icon of collectable Bruichladdich. 

Only 2840 bottles were produced, this is bottle number 1461 of 2840.

Bruichladdich 1970  35 Year Old 125th Anniversary

This 35 year old Bruichladdich was bottled to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the distillery.

Presented in a lovely wooden box including a certificate of authenticity.

Brora 1978 Gordon and Macphail 35 Year Old

Released recently by Gordon and Macphail, this 35 year old Brora was distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2013.

A 21 year old Brora distilled in 1977 and bottled in October 1998.

Brora 1977 Rare Malt 21 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Brora closed in 1983 and over the years has contributed to 13 different Rare Malt Selection releases.  This bottle was distilled in 1977 and bottled in October 1998 as a 21 year old.

Bowmore 25 Year Old/ The Gulls

Yet another of Bowmore's many legends.

Back in the day, When the Scots traveled from their Celtic lands to create the Kingdom of Dalriada-in-Alban, the Pictish and Brythonic tribes who already lived in the lands resisted fiercely. Legend says that the daughter of a Pictish King fell in love with a captured Scottish warrior and helped him escape. Together they fled westwards to Islay. Rowing towards the young warrior's home on the shores of Loch Indaal, a terrible storm assaulted their boat, sending it crashing into the rocky coast line.

The young Scot's clansmen found only debris and no sign of the lovers - but a pair of white gulls soared and swooped together across the Loch, settling neither on the western nor the eastern shore, as if torn between the two.

... on the whisky front this is a 25 year old Bowmore presented in a stunning blue decanter with a stylish box.

Banff 1964 Cadenhead's 15 Year Old

This Aberdeenshire distillery has been closed since the 1980s.

Distilled in February 1964  and bottled by Cadenhead's in March 1979.

The condition is excellent.

Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #2

A marriage of 7 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks went into creating Batch 2, a limited release of 2,226 bottles. A very highly sought after range from Balvenie.

As with the other releases of Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Seven traditional whisky casks and three sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel.

A well respected 30 year old from Balvenie, which won a Gold Medal at the 2010 International Spirits Challenge.

Bowmore 1979 Cadenheads 11 Year Old (Including Miniature)

Distilled October 1979 then bottled October 1990 with a very similar mini (Higher ABV of 58.4%). 

Brora 1982 Douglas Laing 23 Year Old

Distilled in November 1982 and bottled January 2006, matured in a sherry butt number 3294. 

One of 348 bottles.

Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #7 (Travel Retail Exclusive)

As with the previous releases of Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Nine traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel.

The expression has been exclusively created for the travel retail market and consists of the casks shown below.

Balmenach 1961 Cadenhead's 21 Year Old

Distilled November 1961 and bottled February 1983 from Balmenach distillery. 

Balvenie 1974 Single Barrel 25 Year Old

Distilled on 2nd of November 1974 and bottled on 11th October 2000 from single cask #10138.

Hand bottled this bottle carries the number 187.

Bunnahabhain 1966 Duncan Taylor 36 Year Old

Distilled in June 1966 then bottled in January 2003 at 40%abv. 

Bruichladdich Octomore 1.1 First Edition

The first release of the Bruichladdich Octomore, peated to 131ppm at the time the most heavily peated spirit in the world.

Matured for 5 years from October 2002 until April 2008 only 6,000 bottles released, this is bottle number 5505.

Bushmills 1975 Millenium Malt Single Cask Exclusive for 'The Angels' Share'

A rare single cask bottling of Bushmills, distilled in 1975 and bottled exclusive for 'The Angels' Share' at the turn of the millenium.

Bottle/cask number 293/252.

Brora 1982 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old

Distilled in 1982 and bottle 2003, this is a single cask Brora bottled at 50% abv. 

One of 264 bottles. 

Bruichladdich Octomore Orpheus 2.2 

Similiarly to the Comus, the Orpheus release was equally peated to the same degree as its counter-part Octomore 2.1, at 140ppm.  The Orpheus was finished using Château Pétrus Bordeaux casks, recognised as one of the world’s top vineyards.  Matured for only 5 years this alongside the Comus have proven to be quite desirable bottlings.

This is bottle 986 of 15,000.

Bruichladdich Octomore Orpheus 2.2 

Similiarly to the Comus, the Orpheus release was equally peated to the same degree as its counter-part Octomore 2.1, at 140ppm.  The Orpheus was finished using Château Pétrus Bordeaux casks, recognised as one of the world’s top vineyards.  Matured for only 5 years this alongside the Comus have proven to be quite desirable bottlings.

Brora 1981 Signatory Vintage 21 Year Old 

A Brora distilled in 1981 then bottled in 2003, matured in refill sherry butt number 1422. A rare opportunity to try Brora at a younger age.

Octomore Discovery Feis Ile 2014 

Perhaps the most desirable of the new Feis Ile releases, this is the first time Bruichladdich has released an Octomore for Feis Ile and it is incredibly limited with only 1,695 bottles being released.

Distilled on the 18th February 2007 and bottled for the 2014 Bruichladdich Open Day at Feis Ile, with a very impressive abv of 69.5%.

Bruichladdich 1984 Redder Still 22 Year Old

This is the second in the \"Still\" series after the Blacker Still. This was distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2007, it was matured in first-fill bourbon casks prior to being finished in Chateua Lafleur Bordeaux. 

Bladnoch 10 Year Old Flora and Fauna (Boxed)

This Flora and Fauna 10 year old Bladnoch has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last bottling released by Diageo the old owners of the distillery.

Brora 21 Year Old Lombard

A 21 year old Brora bottled by Lombard at 50% abv. 

Bunnahabhain 1968 Family Silver

Bunnahabhain distilled whisky in 1968 and selected to be bottled by the Board of Directors of Highland Distilleries for the Family Silver Range.

Balvenie Islay Cask 17 Year Old

Released in 2003, this was the very first of the Balvenie 17 year old expressions.

''In the making of The Balvenie Islay Cask, David Stewart selected Balvenie single malt which had matured in traditional oak casks for at least 17 years and transferred it into 94 casks which had previously held Islay single malt. After six months he felt the casks had imparted the desired delicate amount of peaty notes, typical of Islay, whilst retaining the distinctively honeyed character of The Balvenie.''
