Macallan Cask 888

Limited to a very exclusive 720 bottles, the exclusive Cask 888 was bottled from a single sherry-seasoned cask on the 8th August 2008 (08.08.08).  To continue with the theme of this bottle the strength is 48.8%.

The decanter has been created by the cosmetic glass manufacturer Stolzle Flaconnag. For its part, Lalique displayed its latest collection, Le Noir Crystal especially for the launch of Cask 888.

Taketsuru 35 Year Old Pure Malt

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru released in 2008, At 35 years this is the oldest Taketsuru and this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, the oldest available stock from both distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 1000 bottles were available only in Japan.

Macallan 1955 Over 15 Year Old / Campbell, Hope and King

Imported by Italian Importer Rinaldi, this Macallan was the one to look out before Macallan started their now famous \"18 Year Old\" range.

Bottled by Campbell, Hope and King.

It is believed to have been bottled between 1971/1973 making it 16/18 Year Old.

The Last Drop 50 Year Old Blend

An amazong blend, not only because the whisky is 50 years old but because it contains over 82 whiskies originally many from now closed distilleries.The whiskies were married at birth, blended at birth - something rarely seen these days which means that for 50 years the flavours have been harmonising and interacting with each other.  Only three casks of the original blend remained (hence the last drop name), the majority of this was sold as a 12 year old years ago.

Bottled by hand and sealed with wax, the bottle of The Last Drop 50 Year Old nestles in a luxurious red leather case, along with a 50 ml miniature, so that owners can taste this magnificent liquid before deciding to open the bottle.

You will also find within the box, a 'secret drawer' containing a signed and numbered leather-bound book, certifying your bottle of The Last Drop 50 Year Old, and with room for your own tasting notes as you explore this extraordinary blend

A absolutely stonking blended malt from 1938 bottled by Gordon and MacPhail 44 years later.

Midleton Very Rare 1990 Edition 

This famous blend of whiskies was produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare was released in very limited quantities on an annual basis since 1984, until 2012 when it was replaced by the equally desirable and acclaimed Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks.  Each bottle carries a signature from Barry Crocket and has an individual bottle number, this particular bottle is #7194.

The 1990 Vintage was the first vintage release to come in a wooden box, and was exported, making this particular bottle very rare indeed.

Courvoisier Erte Cognac No.8

A limited edition bottling of Courvoisier designed by the late Art Deco artiste Erte.

This is the eighth release which is known as 'Inedit' and contains eaux-de-vie that dates from the artist's birth 1892.

Macallan 1980 Exceptional Cask #4063

This is the second release in the Exceptional cask range. 

Distilled in March 1980, matured in Oloroso sherry butt number 4063 then bottled in December 2001. 

Macallan Masters of Photography Elliott Erwitt Edition

The 4th release of the Masters of Photography consisted of 58 unique aingle cask whiskies, paired with different Elliott Erwitt prints. There were 35 pairings available making this a global release of 2030 bottles.

The Whisky comes in a hand crafted 35cl Flask concealed within a book that features all 58 images along side the Print that was paired with each whisky.

Tamdhu 1963 R.W. Duthie 26 Year Old 75cl / US Import

Although Tamdhu was recently closed and reopened for the third time, this Speyside whisky has a delicious flavour profile. 

This was distilled in 1963 and then bottled in 1989.

Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac Baccarat Decanter

A very impressive Baccarat Crystal decanter containing Martell Cordon Bleu, the flagship bottling in the Martell family. We estimate this bottle to be from the 1980s.

Chartreuse de Tarragona Yellow Label 1951-1959

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

Produced between 1904-1989 in Tarragona (Spain) after the Carthusian Monks were exiled from France. In 1989 the distillery in Tarragona closed down and the production of this liquor returned to France. Nowadays the bottles produce in the distillery of Tarragona have become one of the most expensive and sought after liquors in the world. The recipe contains more than 130 different plants and flowers, the Mediterranean character of the Tarragona distillery is bottled in this unique and limited liquor.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1950s.

Macallan 1990 Exceptional Cask #24680

This is the forth release in the Exceptional cask range. 

Distilled on 27th December 1990, matured in sherry butt number 24680 before being bottled on January 21st 2003.

Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2004 described this bottle as \" For this, Unquestionably, is the greatest Macallan of them all \"

The Drunken Master Blended Malt Whisky Agency / Art Taiwan - Beijing Opera Facial Masks 2 x 70cl​

A joint bottling between the Art Taiwan and the Mash Tun Tokyo by The Whisky Agency.

This lot comprises of two full 70cl whiskies bottled by the Drunken Master. 

A 35 year old blended malt distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2015, alongside a 1992 Burnside bottled in 2015.

\"Burnside\" is Balvenie that has been \"teaspooned\" with Glenfiddich. This practice allowed brand protective Single malt producers to sell casks for blending purposes but ensure that they were not released as independent bottlings. 

The Drunken Master Blended Malt Whisky Agency / Art Taiwan - Beijing Opera Facial Masks 2 x 70cl​

A joint bottling between the Art Taiwan and the Mash Tun Tokyo by The Whisky Agency.

This lot comprises of two full 70cl whiskies bottled by the Drunken Master. 

A 35 year old blended malt distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2015, alongside a 1992 Burnside bottled in 2015.

Taketsuru 25 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru, originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe, this bottle was released in Asia. 

Macallan 25 Year Old Fine Oak

25 year old Macallan, released within the Fine Oak Series.

The Fine Oak series from Macallan was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
