Bowmore 1999 Feis Ile 2009

Bottled for the Feis Ile 2009, only 900 bottles of this 9 year old Bowmore were produced. Distilled on the 14th of June 1999 and matured in warehouse No. 6 using a combination of Sherry, Bourbon and Wine casks, each bottle is individually numbered.

This is bottle number 049.

Bruichladdich Octomore Futures

The original futures release, distilled on the 16th October 2002 and bottled in April 2008.

This 5 year old October was matured exclusively in Buffalo Trace casks, peated to 80.5ppm.

Bottle number 2804 of 9,600.

Dailuaine 17 Year Old Manager's Dram 2000

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

A 17 year old Dailuaine, matured in sherry oak casks and chosen by the distillery manager bottled on 20th November 2000.

Bladnoch 10 Year Old Flora and Fauna

This Flora and Fauna 10 year old Bladnoch has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last bottling released by Diageo the old owners of the distillery.

One of several Bowmore releases earlier this year during the Feis Ile. 

Matured predominantly in first fill Bourbon casks, bottled on 16th May 2014.

Limited edition of only 1,000 bottles

The bag interestingly suggest that this whisky was matured first fill American oak bourbon barrels and French wine Barriques.  

Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine 1 Litre

A fairly recent release from Bunnahabhain strictly to the Travel Retail market.

The Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine (pronounced Ae-ree ne gray-nyuh and meaning ‘Morning Sky’ in Gaelic) contains a 'significant proportion' of high-quality ex-red wine cask-matured Bunnahabhain whiskies of various ages.

Balvenie 10 Year Old Founder's Reserve (US Import) 75cl

Bottled at 40%, this is a classic 10 year old created by The Balvenie Malt Master, David Stewart, from a marriage malt matured in bourbon cask and sherry butts. A cornerstone of The Balvenie range since the early 1980s, the Founder’s Reserve has now been retired.

A distillery only bottle that was distilled in 2004 and released for the 2010 Feis Ile. Bottled at cask strength and matured in a fresh sherry butt cask number 1667.

Braeval 1990 Douglas Laing 16 Year Old

Distilled May 1990 and bottled September 2006.

This red wine finished single cask, bottled by Douglas Laing, yielded just 327 bottles.

This Balvenie was matured for 14 years prior to a finishing period in Caribbean rum casks.

Part of Diageo's Flora and Fauna series, this heavily sherried dram is normally confined only to the UK. Big fruity dram that offers a rich malty texture.

If you don't like Mortlach, you will probably love Dailuaine - they are reknowned for splitting opinions.

This 16 year old Flora and Fauna is still available, if you look hard enough.

Bowmore Darkest

Still incredibly popular, Bowmore Darkest was matured in sherry casks.  The non-aged version shown here has long been discontinued and replaced by the newer 15 year old 'Darkest'.

The first release of the Islay Barley collection from Bruichladdich (after the Feis Ile bottling in 2010), the barley grown for this vintage was from Kentraw Farm Foreland.

Dailuaine 1996 Against the Grain \"Wax and Wane\" 13 Year Old

An independant bottling from the legendary wine merchant, Oddbin's.  The Against the Grain series consisted of 9 bottles from distilleries they 'tried' to keep secret, this Wax and Wane is likely to be from Dailuaine 

Distilled on 22nd September 1993 and bottled on 6th November 2006 as a 13 year old, matured exclusively in a refill Bourbon cask.

Bladnoch 2001 Old Lightly Peated 7 Year Old 

A lightly peated Bladnoch distilled on 2nd December 2001 and bottled 7 years later on the 16th July 2009.
