The Queen of Hearts was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a traditional hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french oak cognac wood, cask # 9102.

This bottle is only number 108 of 324.

Bowmore Bicentenary 1779-1979 / 98.8 Proof

An extremely rare Bowmore released for their Bicentenary in 1979. This was created for the Italian market.

The whisky is rumoured to be from 1969 but this is not stated on the bottle. 

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.2%.

Hanyu 2000 Four of Spades Single Cask #60

A single cask #60 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 2000 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a Japanese oak Mizunara Puncheon for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2010.

Bottle 166 of 570.

Bruichladdich 1964 'The Forty' 40 Year Old​ / Signed

This mythical 40 year old Bruichladdich is the oldest official release from the distillery.

Distilled on 24th October 1964 and matured in a single bourbon cask until bottling in november 2004.  There were only 550 bottles released of this exceptional Islay malt, this is bottle number 107.

Hanyu 1985 Nine of Diamonds #9421

Hanyu is a closed Japanese distillery that received a new lease of life from Ichiro Akuto, who bottled the last of the stock in the iconic card range. 

Distilled in 1985 and bottled in 2009, after being aged in a hogshead then finished in a Bourbon barrel.

Hanyu 1991 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #401 / Nine of Clubs​

Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2011 from cask number 401. 

Initially matured in hogshead prior to being finished in Bourbon barrels.

A single cask strength Yamazaki bottled  in 2013 after being matured in a Mizunara cask. For the Tokyo Bar Show.

Hanyu Ichiro's Malt The Joker 'Colour'

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

This is bottle number 3,298 of 3,690.

Yamazaki 1999 Single Cask #DU65300 

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days and we are extremely fortunate to have a number of these in our auction this month.

This single cask was distilled on 1999 and matured in a single sherry butt #DU65300 until bottling in 2011.

The Chinese character on the label we believe means 'Hero', 40th Hero.

Bowmore 8 Year Old Sherriff's / 1970s

A legendary Bowmore, the Sherriff's bottling was originally released during the 1960s and created before the distillery was sold to Stanley P Morrison.

This early 1970s bottling is highly sought after.

Nicknamed 'the seadragon' due to the mythical beast adorning the rather pretty black ceramic bottle and box, this 30 year old Bowmore appeared in the mid 1990s and has achieved almost mythic status.

The contents of this decanter are almost entirely made up of long-aged casks from the legendary 1960s vintages.

Balvenie 1970 Vintage Cask

Distilled on 28th September 1970 and bottled on 31st July 2001 from a single cask #12527.

Limited to a mere 310 bottles.
