The Whisky Shop

The Whisky Shop was established in 1992 when it opened its flagship retail branch in what is now the Waverly Mall in Edinburgh. Today it is part of the Glenkeir Whiskies group, who acquired the chain of stores in 2004.

In addition to its many retail operations throughout the UK, The Whisky Shop also owns a print publication called Whiskeria and operates a members group called The W Club. It has also produced a number of its own independent bottlings of Scotch whisky over the years, including a sought-after collaboration with Douglas Laing & Co in the early 2000s.
