Cadenhead's Cask Strength "Distillery Labels"
Released through the mid-1990s, these Cadenhead's Cask Strength bottlings are colloquially known among some collectors as the "Distillery Label" series on account of their uniform use of the same illustration across the range. Unusually for William Cadenhead bottlings, these all disclose the unique cask numbers from which they were bottled and have become highly sought-after as an unusual adjunct to the familiar Authentic Collection bottlings that were introduced around the same time.
Vintage in the series range from the late 1970s to early 1980s, making these fairly youthful by comparison to many other Cadenhead bottlings from the period. Particular highlights include the rare disclosure on the labels of the Glenfarclas, Lagavulin and Talisker names.
