Killyloch
Killyloch was a malt distillery built in 1965 by Inver House Distillers. It was located within the company's Moffat complex alongside the Glenflagler malt and Garnheath grain distilleries, however was the shortest-lived of the three, closing sometime after 1972.
Intended to provide fillings for blends like Inver House and Pinwinnie, the distillery complimented the non-peated Glenflagler spirit by producing a lightly-peated single malt. It also occasionally made a heavily-peated variant known as Iselbrae.
Given its short life span, Killyloch was never bottled officially during its lifetime and only a single bottling has ever appeared since. Released in 2003, the only outing for Inver House Distillers' Killyloch brand was a 36-year-old, 1967 vintage and was limited to just 371 bottles.
The only other companies to have bottled Killyloch malt are the independent bottlers, Signatory Vintage and James MacArthur & Co.
