Blaum Bros Distilling Co is an American distillery operation founded in 2013 by brothers, Mike and Matt Blaum. It is located in the town of Galena, Illinois and produces a range of different spirits.
The distillery operates a hybrid distillation process that comprises a 2000-litre pot still with a single 2-plate column rectifier, producing both bourbon and rye whiskey alongside vodka, gin and rum.
The Blaum Bros brand was launched in 2013 and is used for all of the distillery's spirits. The first whiskey distilled by the company in Illinois was not bottled until July 2018, however any bottled under the brand name from other sources is flagged with the subtitle Knotter.
The core range includes a straight bourbon, straight rye, vodkas, gins, and even an absinthe. In addition, it offers a limited edition range called Galena Reserve which offers small batch releases of its various spirit types.
