Somerset Importers was an American wine and spirits company, established as a subsidiary of Noron Simon Inc in 1968 after it restructured its Canada Dry Ginger Ale Inc division. The company was the US distributor for the Johnnie Walker blended Scotch brand, which eventually saw it bought acquired by the Distillers Company in 1984. it was merged with Schieffelin & Co in 1987 to create Schieffelin & Somerset, a joint venture between Guinness PLC and Moët-Hennessy.
The company also had American whiskey interests, and bought the Stitzel-Weller distillery and brands from the Van Winkle family in 1972.
