Lang Brothers is a historic Glasgow blending company that is currently a non-trading subsidiary of Ian Macleod Distillers. The company was originally founded in Glasgow in 1861 by Gavin and Alexander Lang, and acquired the Burnfoot (now Glengoyne) distillery 1876. The company was taken over by Robertson & Baxter in 1965 before being sold on to Ian Macleod in 2003.
The company introduced the Glengoyne single malt brand in the the 1970s and its flagship Langs blended Scotch label is still in production today.
