Glasgow Distillery Company

The Glasgow Distillery Company is the parent company of the Glasgow malt distillery, which it opened in 2015. It was founded three years earlier by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall, and was the first independent company to bring malt distilling to Glasgow for over 100 years.

It markets a single malt brand, Glasgow 1770, which it introduced in 2018, and it also has a blend called Malt Riot, a vodka and the Makar gin label introduced in 2014.
