Adnams PLC is a brewer, distiller, pub-owner and retailer based in Southwold on the Suffolk coast. It was established in 1890 and entered the distilling business in 2010 when it opened the Copper House distillery.
The distillery's flagship spirit is its single malt, triple malt and rye malt whiskies which are marketed under the Adnams brand name. The company markets a gin under the Copper House distillery name and another called First Rate, and an eau-de-vie de bière called Spirit of Broadside.
