Copper House
Copper House distillery is located within the wider brewery complex of Adnams PLC in the English town of Southwold in Suffolk. The brewery is a historic operation that dates back to 1890 and when it installed the distillery in 2010 it became the first in the UK to legally do so. One of the most water and energy-efficient distilleries in the UK, Copper House generates water and steam for the brewery while producing vodka, gin and a variety of whiskies on its German made stills from Carl GmbH.
The Copper House brand name is reserved for the distillery's gin, with its whisky marketed under the general Adnams or Distiller's Choice names. It used a variety of grains in its production, including wheat, barley, oats and rye.
