The Octave is one of the flagship single cask Scotch whisky brands from independent bottler, Duncan Taylor. Each release contains whisky that has experienced a secondary maturation period in a small octave cask (one eighth the size of a butt), designed to increase wood contact with the spirit and expediate maturation. The company refers to this using the trademarked phrase, "Octave Invigorated."

The brand was launched in 2010 and was expanded in 2019 to include The Octave Premium Range.
