A Lowland distillery based on the outskirts of Glasgow, famed for its exclusive use of triple distillation. It is part of the extensive Scotch whisky portfolio of Japanese multinational, Suntory Holdings.
The Octave
The Octave is one of the flagship single cask Scotch whisky brands from independent bottler, Duncan Taylor. Each release contains whisky that has experienced a secondary maturation period in a small octave cask, designed to increase wood contact with the spirit and expediate maturation.
Duncan Taylor
Established in 1936, Duncan Taylor is a historic Scotch whisky company. A cask broker and independent bottler, its brands include the Dimensions, The Octave and Rare Auld single casks, and the blended Scotch labels such as Black Bull and The Big Smoke.
