Lindores

Lindores is the single malt brand produced by The Lindores Distilling Co at its Lindores Abbey distillery in Fife. The distillery commenced production in 2017 and originally released bottles of new make spirit and an "aqua vitae" spirit drink under the Lindores Abbey name, before launching the Lindores brand in 2021.

The core range product is called MCDXCIV, an homage to the year 1494 when Friar John Cor of Lindores Abbery is recorded as the earliest known whisky distiller in Scotland. Regular limited edition single casks and small batch releases are also produced, as well as exclusive releases for The 1493 member's club.
