Against the Grain
Against the Grain was an independent brand of Scotch whisky bottlings from the UK wine and spirits merchant, Oddbins. The first release was a 10-year-old Springbank, specially bottled for the company by J&A Mitchell in the 1990s.
The brand then lay dormant until revived in 2005 as an annual batch release of mostly un-named single malts. With the exception of a Glen Mhor (which is stated on the label) the source distilleries of the whiskies in question have not been revealed, but are titled with potential clues to their origin. These were released between 2005 and 2010.
