Seagram's 100 Pipers De Luxe Scotch Whisky
100 Pipers
A brand of blended Scotch whisky, currently produced by Pernod Ricard through its Chivas Brothers division and marketed primarily in India, Thailand and select Asian and South American markets. Chivas Brothers first introduced the blend in the US in 1965.
Seagram Distillers
Seagram Distillers was the Scotch whisky division of Canadian drinks giant, Seagram. It was incorporated in 1936 and its portfolio was operated chiefly through two subsidiaries, Chivas Brothers with it acquired in 1949, and The Glenlivet Distillers which it bought in 1977.
The company’s primary interest was blended Scotch, however it did market several single malt brands in its time. Glenlivet and Glen Grant were already established labels when acquired, but products from Strathisla, Benriach, Longmorn and Glen Keith were all debuted by Seagram, and were even packaged together as The Heritage Collection in 1993.
