A modern American whiskey distillery houses within the historic walls of the former Old Taylor distillery. Built in the shape of a castle in 1887 by Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr, it felt into disrepair in the 1970s before restoration work began in 2014, re-opening as Castle & Key two years later.

Blue Run is an American whiskey brand bottled in Kentucky by Blue Run Spirits. It was launched in October 2020 and its range comprises both bourbon and rye whiskies. Forgoing any sort of proprietary expressions, the brand is available exclusively as quarterly released limited editions.

Blue Run Spirits is an American whiskey company founded in 2019. Its flagship Blue Run brand was launched the following year using whiskey distilled at a variety of Kentucky distilleries and selected with the help of former Four Roses master distiller, Jim Rutledge.
