Balblair 1951 V.H. Small Still
This bottling of 1951 vintage Balblair is from a privately-owned cask. It spent many years at the distillery unbeknownst to the owner who had not realised the cask still belonged to him. When it was finally bottled at the ripe old age of 24, the bottles were distributed within the family (or sold privately) and were never available to the public.

Perhaps one of Scotland's most important whisky companies, Gordon & MacPhail is a historic blender, independent bottler and distiller. It was founded in Elgin in 1895 and among its brands include Benromach single malt, and independent labels such as Connoisseurs Choice and its Distillery Labels.
