Bottle Details

Paddy Old Irish Whiskey 1980s

A triple distilled blended Irish whiskey containing single pot still, single malt and grain.

Paddy Irish Whiskey is named after former Cork Distilleries salesman Paddy Flaherty, and was historically produced by the company at Old Midleton. When the Irish Distillers group was formed by the amalgamation of Cork Distilleries, Powers and Jameson in 1966, production was moved to the New Midleton distillery when it was completed in 1975. It is still produced there today on behalf of the Sazerac company, who acquired the brand in 2016.
