Lopez Hermanos Malaga Pedro Ximen 2002

Founded in 1885 by Salvador Lopez Lopez, this winery has been producing in Malaga wines until the present day.

Malaga wines, from the Spanish city of Malaga, are a recognised and geographically-protected style of Spanish wine.  These sweet wines are similar to PX Sherries - using the same grapes of Pedro Ximinez and Moscatel, and roughly the same winemaking process - but as yet are far less instantly recognisable (outside of Southern Spain!).

Raymond Bréban Côtes De Provence​

Red wine from the AOC Côtes de Provence in the South of France.  The appellation of the Côtes De Provence​ is more commonly associated with the production of Rosé Wines, accounting for nearly 80% of the areas wine, yet small quantities of reds (~15%) and whites (~5%) are also produced.  Regarding permitted grape varietals and blend-ratios, wine producers in the Côtes De Provence​ enjoy a flexibility and self-expression not shared by their counterparts in France's far more prestigious wine regions.

While this bottle does not bear a vintage statement, it is possible to assess the wine as being released prior to 1968 - when Jean-Jacques Bréban took over the reigns of the winery from his father, Raymond, and changed the name of the winery to Vins Bréban.

Pinord Reynal Rosado Frizzante

An older bottling of sparkling wine from Bodegas Pinord in the northeast of Spain.  This rosado frizzante is made with the Tempranillo grape, tank-fermented (as with Prosecco), and bottled with some residual sugars, so medium-sweet.

Red Hackle De Luxe Scotch Whisky Miniature 1960s

A miniature of the blend named after the red feather that adorns the hats of the Scottish military unit The Black Watch. 

This blend was produced by Hepburn & Ross of Glasgow.  Established in 1920 by Charles Hepburn (who served with the Black Watch) and Herbert Ross both veterans of the First World War. The company had a policy of hiring ex-military and became popular with military bases during the Second World War.

Although the brand would vanish by the 1980s it occasionaly pops up here and there.

Monte Real 1967 Reserva

Monte Real is one of the family of wines released by Bodega Riojanas Group based in Logrono, in the far north-east corner of the Rioja Alta subregion.  100% Tempranillo from the vineyards of Cenicero, matured in American oak barrels for between 24-30 months with a further 12 months in the bottle prior to market release.

Yamazaki 1986 Owner's Cask Mizunara Butt #6B0018

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This single cask was distilled in 1986 and matured in a Mizunara butt #6B0018 until bottling in 2007. 

Bottle number 358 of 424.

Tullibardine 1952 60 Year Old Baccarat Crystal

Arguably one of the most beautiful, elegant bottles we have recieved.  This is an exceptionally rare vintage from Tullibardine, one of only 70 available.  

Tullibardine first produced whisky in 1949, this was produced from a single cask distilled in 1952, this is officially the oldest single malt ever produced from this relatively unknown Highland distillery.  The whisky was created to coincide with the launch of the distillery's Custodian's Club, a private club of Tullibardine enthusiasts.  

A key located in one of the pulllout compartments opens up a locker at the distillery, which contains a framed piece of the cask the whisky came from.

A fantastic piece of whisky history, this 60 year old  whisky is presented in a stunning Baccarat teardrop crystal decanter, complete with a luxurious walnut box and 2 crystal glassses.

The new owner of this bottle will register their bottle with Tullibardine and join an exclusive Custodian's Club that is packed with benefits. 

Once you are registered, you will recieve a diamond encrusted membership card made by Black Astrum and a scroll. (see scroll holder in photos)

Penderyn Aur Cymru / Grand Slam Edition 2005​

Limited release of Penderyn to celebrate the Welsh Rugby team's magnificent victory at the 2005 Six Nations Tournament.

Penderyn, the only welsh whisky has a fairly unique distillation method as it is only distilled once in a Faraday Copper Still.

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

The first cask to be bottled for Dalmore's custodians, a concept introduced by the distillery for it's followers in 2012.

A trio of casks were filled at midnight on January 1st 2000 and gradually released on their 12th, 15th, and 18th birthday's.

This is the first 'Millennium Release', bottled in 2012 as a 12 year old. Initiallly matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.
