An independent bottling of Glenkinchie. 

Distilled on the 22nd of October 1987 and bottled 20 years later. 

Matured in cask #2843, this is bottle number 253. 

Glengoyne 16 Year Old Scottish Oak Finish

Bottled at cask strength, matured for 16 years and unusually finished in Scottish oak for slightly over 3 months.

Glenglassaugh 1986 Gordon and MacPhail

An independent bottling of this unusual Highland malt, distilled in 1986 and bottled in 1998 by Gordon and Macphail.

Ichiro's Malt and Grain / Chichibu and Hanyu

A blend from Ichiro Akuto.

A rather complicated blend at that, the mix could include whisky from his own stocks of Hanyu and Karuizawa as well Chichibu and even more interesting is that  there may be components distilled at other Japanese distilleries and from other countries.

Afterall the label does read 'This is a Worldwide blended whisky'.

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Caoran Reserve

An Older release of the highly regarded Glenfiddich which has long since been discontinued, this was different from the usual 12 year old Glenfiddich as peated barley was used in production giving the whisky a smoky edge.

This Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling carries the name 'Stollen'...mmmm!

This 10 year old 2nd fill barrel yielded only 270 bottles.

Grapes are sourced from selected vineyards which keep their average vine age in excess of 20 years and exclusively from the Rioja Alta subregion thus giving the wine a full character influenced by the cool breezes of the Atlantic Ocean.

Imperial ages their Gran Reserva wines for 36 months in a mix of American and French oak casks with a further 48 months bottle-ageing before release to the market.  The wine is a blend of Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%) and Mazuelo (5%).

\"The Whisky of Whiskies\", according to the label. Which incidentally contains all three sets of measurements, US, Domestic, and European.

A very nice 70s blend produced in Port Dundas, Glasgow, by the Inverdice Scotch Whisky Co Ltd.
