Ardbeg Corryvreckan 

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool to the north of Islay. 

This is the official release of Corryvreckan following the Committee bottling.

This expression joined the Ardbeg 10 year old and Uigeadail as an ongoing product, replacing the Airgh Nam Beist. This Ardbeg was matured in predominantly French oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks.

Auchentoshan That Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch #1

The label depicts bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana who is behind Dandelyan and the White Lyan cocktail bars.

Viña​ Pomal Rioja Reserva 1955

Viña Pomal is one of the cellars owned by Bodegas Bilbainas, located by the historic wine-town of Haro in the northwest of the Rioja Alta subregion.

This wine is of Reserva classification, 100% Tempranillo, aged for 18 months in American oak barrels, from the 1955 vintage.

A Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling of Arran, known as 'Nutty Granny's apple cake'.

Distilled on 2nd December 1999  and bottled 16 years later from a single refill ex-bourbon barrel.

Distilled on 23trd September 1996 and bottled on 30th November 2015 by The Whisky Broker.

Matured in a single cask, bourbon hogshead #1381.

The Ardberg Distillery lies on the most Southernly part of Islay and on the rugged shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Ardberg is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex whisky of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat: rather the peat gives way to the malt, the natural sweetness of which subtly intrudes, producing perfect balance.

A Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling of Arran, known as 'What goes around...'.

Distilled on 2nd December 1999  and bottled 15 years later from a single refill ex-bourbon barrel.

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #54 released in 2015.

Viña Tondonia 6 Year Old Rioja​

Bodegas López de Heredia is located by Haro, in the heart of the Rioja Alta region.  One of the first 3 commercial wine houses to be built, the history and success of the region and the estate are closely linked.

The neck label states this wine to be a Crianza classification, meaning it has spent a minimum period of 12 months in oak and a further minimum period of 12 month in the bottle prior to release; however, the main label states \"6 ano\" indicating it has been aged for 6 years - presumably in oak barrels, which would usually classify it as a Gran Reserva rather than Crianza.

Vega Sicilia Valbuena '5 ano' 1977

Vega Sicilia is Spain's most renowned producer, traces its roots to 1864. American wine Guru Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) has called Vega Sicilia \"One of the world's most iconic wines'.
Vega Sicilia is noted for its patience in winemaking and willingness to hold onto their inventory and age their wines in the barrel. The wine can be held by Vega Sicilia for decades until they release it to the market. Vega Sicilia produces three wines: VEGA SICILIA UNICO gran reserve, VEGA SICILIA UNICO RESERVA ESPECIAL and VALBUENA.

Vintners Choice 1992 Speyside Pure Malt 10 Year Old Sherry Wood Finish

A Speyside \"pure\" malt, which in this instance seems to be a single malt, 

Distilled in 1992 and bottled in November 2002 after being finished in a sherry cask. 

Bottle number 1240. 

Auchentoshan Three Wood

The original release of Auchentoshan's popular 'Three Wood'.

Matured in a combination of American bourbon, Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez.

Arran Single Malt

An early distillery bottle from what was at the time one of Scotland's youngest distilleries. Matured in sherry casks.

Ailsa Bay Single Malt

One of the first official single malt bottlings of Ailsa Bay, William Grants & Sons large relatively unheard of lowland distillery located at their Girvan grain distillery. A uniquely distilled and meticulously balanced single malt whisky from Scotlands Ayrshire coast.

This has been peated to 21ppm. 

Ardmore 1981 Gordon and MacPhail

A 1995 bottling of Ardmore by Gordon and MacPhail distilled in 1981.

This full flavoured whisky is produced in a distillery dating from 1898, on the eastern edge of Speyside at Kennothmont between the river Bogie, the Clashindarroch Forest and the foothills of the Grampian Mountains.

Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask Batch #1

An Arran matured in smaller quarter casks. These smaller casks have more wood contact creating more flavour. Bottled in September 2015. One of 12,000 bottles. 

The Arran Single Malt selected for \"The Bothy\" was initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels before being transferred for secondary maturation into smaller American oak casks for a minimum of 18 months. This process created greater contact between the Whisky and the oak and a much more intense maturation. The end result is a full-bodied expression of the Arran Malt, combing power and finesse full of rich vanilla sweetness and  bold peppery spice. Bottling at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring presents this Whisky in its purest form.
