Hanyu and Chichibu Ghost Series #8 / One of 26 Bottles

A blended malt of Chichibu and Hanyu created as part of Ghost Series. This bottling was created by Ichiro Akuto for \"Spirits for small change\", A bi-annual charity event that focuses on Whisky. This bottle was launched at the event held on the 3rd of July 2016.

Limited to only 26 bottles, two were opened and enjoyed at the event. One was raffled off and three were auctioned over the evening. The remaining 20 were sold at Malt City. All the original procedes from this bottling were used for Japanese children's charities. 

This is bottle number 12 of 26 bottles. 

Highland Park 1964 / Orcadian Vintage 

A truly remarkable Highland Park, distilled in 1964 this is the oldest release as part of their 'Orcadian Vintage Series'.

Released in 2009 this was a vatting of two hogsheads, casks #8737 and #8738 yielded only 290 bottles.  

The presentation as always with Highland Park is spectacular, a hard wood case with a silver Highland Park amulet logo inlay and a stunning black glass bottle.

Hanyu 1988 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #7100 / Eight of Clubs​

Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2011 from cask number 7100. 

Initially matured in hogshead prior to being finished in American oak puncheon.

Bottle number 201 of 561.

Hanyu 2000 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9100 / Five of Hearts​

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2008. 

Originally bottled in a hogshead then finished in a French oak Cognac cask. 

Bottle number 113 of 326.

Hanyu 1990 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9032 / Ten of Clubs​

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008 from single cask #9032.

Matured in a hogshead and finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt

Highland Park 20 Year Old Rebus

Ian Rankin's fictional Detective Rebus has been solving Edinburgh crimes for 20 years, this bottle was released in 2007 to celebrate this. 

Rankin specially selected this cask and the author and special friends were given the bottles as gifts, it was never available for purchase. 

A 20 year old Highland Park presented in an excellently crafted wooden box. 

One of the most rare and collectable Highland Parks available. 

One of only 150 bottles.

This is a bottle from a Japanese food and spirits importer called Shinanoya exclusively for the Japanese market.

This is the fifth release in their acclaimed \"The Game\" series which contains Hanyu from the final year that the distillery was producing.

Chartreuse de Tarragona Yellow Label 1951-1959

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

Produced between 1904-1989 in Tarragona (Spain) after the Carthusian Monks were exiled from France. In 1989 the distillery in Tarragona closed down and the production of this liquor returned to France. Nowadays the bottles produce in the distillery of Tarragona have become one of the most expensive and sought after liquors in the world. The recipe contains more than 130 different plants and flowers, the Mediterranean character of the Tarragona distillery is bottled in this unique and limited liquor.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1950s.

A fantastic release from Akuto Ichiro, this 15 year old was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2010.

Hanyu, is increasingly popular at auction, the distillery was dismantled after closure in 2000 and has quickly taken pride of place alongside Karuizawa as the most in demand Japanese whiskies at auction.

Clynelish 1972 Rare Malt 24 Year Old 

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released within the Rare Malt Selection.  Distilled in 1972 and bottled as a 24 year old at 61.3%

This 16 year old Highland Park is a limited edition of 23,000 bottles.  

Chichibu 2009 Chibidaru Single Cask #287 / Whisky Live Tokyo 2012

This is from the new Japanese distillery Chichibu. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2013, this has been matured in Chibidaru casks. Chibidaru are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed. 

Released exclusively at Whisky Live Tokyo, 2012, this single cask Chichibu yielded on 164 bottles, this is bottle number 6.

Highland Park Earl Haakon 18 Year Old Third Edition

This is the third edition of the Earls series, which featured the Earl Magnus and Saint Magnus. This is an 18 year old Highland Park bottled at cask strength.

Comes with a fully illustrated leaflet telling the tale of Haakon. The original two bottlings in the Magnus collection celebrated the influential 11th century Earl who was canonised 20 years after his untimely death. He was murdered by Haakon, his treacherous cousin, who's infamy was celebrated with this third and final release.

Camus Cognac Cuvee 3.128 Baccarat Decanter

Camus is a well established Cognac brand that carries history back to 1863 when Jean-Baptiste Camus founded a group of Cognac producers under the banner 'La Grande Marque'.

The first batch of a series of limited editions produced by Camus, limited to 3068 bottles. It contains a blend of three unique eaux de vie from leading vineyards belonging to one family, one at 41 years old, the other at 43, and the last at 44. The sum of these ages adds to 128, hence the releases name.

This exceptional cognac has been enhanced by a handmade Baccarat crystal decanter designed by the French designer Serge Manceon.

Please note condition of lot as shown. Decanter stopper has snapped with half of cork. Bottle still sealed with remaining cork.

Clynelish 1984 The Bottlers 16 Year Old

Distilled in November 1984 and then matured un til August 2001, in single cask number 4016.
