Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter II           

Released in mid 2013, Arran’s second edition, release in the very popular punch bowl series consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks. Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,600 bottles have been released.

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June, alongside Ardbeg distillery it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks.

A collection of four Johnnie Walkers including;

• Green Label 15 Year Old Blended Malt - now discontinued
• Gold Label Centenary Blend 18 Year Old - now discontinued

Single cask #1968 was filled on 11th December 1996 and bottled on 1st of October 2012

A particularly rare limited edition bottling of Johnnie Walker Black Label, bottled at the turn of the millenium.

Bottle number B 38807.

Arran 1996 Single Cask 17 Year Old

Single cask #538 was filled on 17th June 1996 and bottled on 9th September 2013.

Bottle 009/141

Arran 1998 SMWS 15 Year Old 121.72

Distilled on 31st December 1998 and bottled as a 15 year old by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

Otherwise known as a a Curious Camping Trip, this Arran was matured in refill ex-bourbon barrels.

Johnnie Walker Mclaren Limited Edition Black Label

A limited edition version of Johnnie Walker Black Label released in 2005 and presented in a unique case to mark the relationship/sponsorship between the McLaren Formula One racing team and Johnnie Walker.

Auchentoshan 1998 Fino Sherry Cask Festival 2010

Exclusive to the Auchentoshan distillery on the second whisky festival, held in 2010.

Matured in European oak fino sherry casks, distilled in 1998 and released as a 12 year old.

Distilled in 1977 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail.

The older packaging of Isle of Jura 21 Year Old.

Auchentoshan Valinch 2012 Festival Edition

As Auchentoshan's festival returns in 2012 after taking a year out the festival bottling also returns, with a special bottling of Auchentoshan Valinch.

Only 200 of this bottling were released, this is bottle number 60.

Ardmore 1986 100th Anniversary 12 Year Old

Famous for being the heart of the Teachers blend, Ardmore was rarely recognised as a single malt until recently. 

This 12 year old distilled in 1986 was bottled to commemorate the 100^th anniversary of the distillery in 1999 (built in 1899). 

Arran 1997 Single Cask La Maison Du Whisky 16 Year Old

A single cask Arran distilled on 14th April 1997 and bottled on the 24th March 2014.

Bottled from a single Sherry hogshead 1997/533 this is bottle number 168 of 246.

No longer available in the UK and increasingly difficult to find the Johnnie Walker Green Label was a blended (vatted) malt produced by Diageo.

Arran Millenium Casks

A memorable mix of 10 sherry hogsheads and 35 bourbon barrels, the Arran Millenium casks were distilled and filled into these casks on the 31^st December 1999 and 1^st January 2000. 

A limited release of 7,800 bottles.

An Cnoc Peter Arkle 4th Edition 1 Litre

The fourth edition of the Peter Arkle series created by An Cnoc and this famous Scottish illustrator, Peter Arkle.  

Limited to 6,000 bottles.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan 

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool to the north of Islay. 

This is the official release of Corryvreckan following the Committee bottling.

This expression joined the Ardbeg 10 year old and Uigeadail as an ongoing product, replacing the Airgh Nam Beist. This Ardbeg was matured in predominantly French oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks.
