Willett XCF Exploratory Cask Finish Rye Version 1.0 / Curacao Casks​

This first XCF release is a rye whiskey produced in Indiana at MGP distillery. It was then aged by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers inside a Willett warehouse in Bardstown for 7 years. The whiskey was finished in casks which previously held a French orange liqueur called Curacao for 90 days.

One of 6,912 bottles.

Cask Reserves Blended Malt Gleann Mor 40 Year Old

'A Rare Find' indeed. This is a blended malt whisky produced by Gleann Mor that consists of single malts no younger than 40 years old. A very complex and interesting dram for sure.

Distilled, matured, and hand bottled in Scotland.

Caol Ila 1990 Douglas Laing 28 Year Old / XOP

Distilled in March 1990 and bottled by Douglas Laing in June 2018. Charged from refill hogshead #12536, this is bottle number 105 of 201. 

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection / Seasoned Oak Finish

The Woodford Reserve brand is produced by the Brown-Forman company, typically using column still whiskey from their Shively distillery, and pot still whiskey from the historic Woodford Reserve distillery in Versailles (formerly Old Oscar Pepper, and Labrot & Graham), which they re-opened in 1993.

This is part of their Master's Collection, which boasts whiskey purely from the copper pot stills of the Versialles site.

This bourbon has been finished in maple wood casks.

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Wolfburn distillery opened in 2013.

This release was bottled for the Mey Games on the 4th of August 2018. Only 120 bottles were produced, this is number 115.

Celtic Nations

A very unusual blended malt from Bruichladdich, combining Irish whisky with 1994 Bruichladdich, and a touch of Port Charlotte.

A one-off bottling as the blending of Scotch Whisky and Irish Whiskey has been banned by the SWA.

One of only 7200 bottles.

Carsebridge 1976 Douglas Laing 40 Year Old / XOP

Distilled in October 1976 and matured in a refill hogshead for 40 years. 

Bottled in February 2017, this is a fantastically well-aged dram from this closed distillery.

The Xtra Old Particular series (XOP) was launched in 2013 and is reserved by Douglas Laing for casks considered to be the \"family jewels.\"

Hailing from Buffalo Trace, this brand applies methods and mashbills comparable to those introduced by Colonel E. H. Taylor. Edmund Haynes Taylor is generally considered to be the father of modern bourbon, recognising the the importance of strong brands and building numerous important distilleries, including Old Fashioned Copper (OFC, better known today as Buffalo Trace).

Taylor's \"Colonel\" title is not a military prefix, but actually refers to the honourary title, Kentucky Colonel. He shares this with many famous sons of Kentucky, but perhaps none more so than a certain Fried Chicken vendor...

The 2018 barrel proof release is bottled at a hefty 129.7 US proof.

Distilled on the 18th of March 1981 and bottled 16 years later by First Cask.

Carsebridge 1982 Douglas Laing 33 Year Old

A 33 year old Carsebridge single grain, distilled in December 1982 and bottled by Douglas Laing in September 2016 as part of their Old Particular single casks series.

Cream of Kentucky Double Rich Bourbon 1960s / Rinaldi Import

An old 1960's bottling of Cream of Kentucky bourbon, produced by Pebbleford Distillers, a subsidiary of the Schenley company, at the James E. Pepper distillery and bottled at Bernheim , nowadays the home of Heaven Hill.

The James E. Pepper distillery was a historic site, formerly known as the Henry Clay distillery, which was resurrected following the repeal of Prohibition by Schenley. They renamed it James E. Pepper after the famous 19th century Master Distiller (the Old Fashioned cocktail is said to have been created in his honour).

Imported to the Italian market by Fratelli Rinaldi.

A 21 year old blended Scotch from Chivas Brothers. This is the classic Royal Salute, an special batch edition with a Beach Polo theme.

Caol Ila 1992 SMWS 11 Year Old 53.76

\"Barbequed pork ribs and caracole dog biscuit\" is an 11 year old Caol Ila distilled in February 1993 and bottled 11 years later in March 2004. 

Cooley 1992 Cadenhead's 26 Year Old

A single cask Irish single malt whiskey from Cooley distillery, bottled by Cadenhead's.

Distilled in 1992, this 26 year old was aged in a single bourbon barrel in 2018.

Clynelish 1996 Signatory Vintage 18 Year Old Cask Strength / TWE 

Distilled on the 28th of June 1996 and aged for 18 years in refill sherry butt #6509, a cask hand picked by The Whisky Exchange.

Bottled 8th April 2015, one of 606 bottles. 

Clynelish 1995 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old / XOP

A Douglas Laing bottling of Clynelish, distilled in October 1995 and bottled in September 2017 as part of their XOP range. 

Matured in a refill hogshead, this is one of 265 bottles.

Writer's Tears Cask Strength 2015

A cask strength bottling limited to only 2,100 bottles worldwide.

This is a vatted blend of aged single malt and single pot still whiskey, matured in first fill American oak casks.

Charpentier 30 Year Old Cadenhead's Cognac

A 50 year old Cognac distilled at Distillerie Charpentier. This is not a widely known name outside of the Cognac world, but Charpentier are a long-running, high quality producer, and source of some of the best bottlings around.

One of only 222 bottles drawn from a single cask in 2017, Cadenhead's 175th anniversary year.

White Horse 1913 Miniature

This is a phenomenal bit of whisky history, confirmed by Diagio to be a 1913 bottling of White Horse.

Along with one other example held in the Diagio archive, this is thought the be the oldest example of White Horse known to existence.

No indication of volume or strength but the bottle is approximately 5cl.

Distilled in 1997, this was selected by and jointly bottled for Sansibar in Germany and Spirits Shop' Selection in Taiwan, at 18 years old.

One of only 599 bottles drawn from a sherry butt in 2015.
